Pet Care

Maryland Veterinary Surgical Services
61 Mellor Ave, CatonsvilleOur Rottweiler severely injured her 'knee' and required replacement surgery (I forget what it is really called). After much searching, we were fortunate to find Maryland Veterinary Surgical Services. Our experience with Dr. Walesby was excellent. She is highly skilled and talented, she genuinely cares about outcomes & personally responded to our questions and concerns!
The clinic itself is open and welcoming, and the staff were consistently kind, professional, and reassuring. The surgery went perfectly, and the results have been truly amazing. Our pup is back up and running as if nothing ever happened!
We also greatly appreciated the 'all-inclusive' pricing, which covered the surgery, all medications, the collar, and multiple follow-up appointments. We are extremely grateful for the care our dog received and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of surgical care for their pet.

Radiocat
32-A Mellor Ave, CatonsvilleWe have a senior kitty Logan we took in from a shelter a few years ago at the age of 12 or 13. The vet was quick to diagnose him with hyperthyroidism and we discussed I-131 or meds. The two vets we went to agreed that meds if tolerated work just as well as the treatment. Taking that advise we just tried the meds and had some success until late in 2024 when they were becoming more troublesome and Logan's symptoms were getting worse. I called RadioCat and spoke with Kayris the coordinator for the Phoenix location. Kayris was wonderful, the process incredibly simple and they kept in touch with our regular vet. Logan had his treatment about 30 days ago and we go back for bloodwork in a few days, however, I'm confident the results will be positive news from the changes we have witnessed in Logan. I am eternally thankful for RadioCat and their coordination, even our vet who use to work at a animal hospital that offered this service directly was impressed! It is important to understand, this treatment has a HIGH rate of success and few side affects, however, it doesn't come with zero risk and guaranteed reward. It is trial and error like many medical treatments.

Thrive Pet Healthcare Catonsville Urgent Care
32 Mellor Ave # C, CatonsvilleWe had an incredibly positive experience at Thrive Animal Hospital during a very stressful and emotional time for our family. Our beloved cat, Buster, was in significant pain, and getting him into his crate was heartbreaking and difficult.
Nurse Cara was a tremendous support both over the phone and in person. When we were struggling to get Buster safely into his crate because of his unrelenting pain, she was calm, reassuring, and compassionate. During the visit, her kindness toward Buster and toward us meant more than we can say.
Dr. Daniel was exceptionally thorough in his work up and communication. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions with patience, and approached Buster’s care with real empathy and thoughtfulness. We felt heard, supported, and confident in the plan he created for us.
Even the front desk staff went above and beyond. One team member kindly lent me her phone charger when my battery was dying, which was such a small but meaningful act during a hard day.
We left with a clear plan and medications to help keep Buster comfortable, and most importantly, we left feeling cared for. We are so grateful to this team for their skill, compassion, and humanity.

Pet Sitting & Training

Pet-U-Cation Training & Rehabilitation Services, LLC
1030-D Leslie Ave, CatonsvilleMy name is Tobin & I'm a very adorable 16 month old female American Bully (XL). My “pet parents” first took me to Pet-U-Cation back in November, and I honestly wasn’t really sure why we needed to go, after all, I love all dogs, kids, and people of any kind. Training wasn’t something I really thought I needed. I had so many friends at my old daycare, but sometimes the older dogs didn’t really understand that I look intimidating and mature, but I’m really just a puppy who sometimes doesn’t understand when someone doesn’t want to be my friend. Anyways, I met Savannah, and she said I could come to day training and if I listened and understood the rules and boundaries, I could come to daycare. I’ve been going at least two times a week since February and I just love my days there! Susan helped me learn confidence with the flirt pole and how to consistently heel and come when called and now that I am a better listener I get to play with so many dog friends! The structure and consistency I get there has made it so I don’t get in any trouble at home anymore. I’m halfway through my Canine Good Citizen course and am walking so nicely on a leash and looking forward to passing my test. I’ve even gotten to spend a few nights at my “trainers” house and she makes me work hard and reinforces my learning, but also is a big softie. I wish I came here back when I was rescued from BARCs, but I plan on doing daycare FOREVER and anytime my people are out of town I’m definitely staying with Savannah!

Man vs Pho
6220 Baltimore National Pike suite 3, CatonsvilleWent there tonight and got my son some pho for the 1st time. He chose build your own bowl with beef, brisket, and shrimp with spicy beef broth and all the fixings. First, coming in the man was very welcoming. He was willing to answer any questions I had. I also got some shrimp summer rolls which were delicious. My son devoured the bowl and said he wants to come back again. He was impressed by the shrimp and how big they were.. He said the beef was so good when the broth soaked in. He saved some of his broth to use for at home noodles. Both the lady and gentleman was so nice! My son even got a free soda to go with his bowl! We will surely be back!

The Beaumont
801 Frederick Rd, CatonsvilleI do feel that the menu was up suitable for the environment however, I've been eyeing the menu for weeks and the food I wanted was taken off the menu. Coincidentally, the menu changed the day of my arrival Friday, April 10th. I gave the atmosphere 4 stars because I thought the restaurant space was really small , and the two seated tables were not for my level of comfort. So i'm assuming those tables were fitted according to the available square footage.
