“Amazing experience. Very reasonably priced dresses/appointments. I strongly recommend this boutique to brides who want a glamorous bridal gown shopping experience. Depending on the package you select, you can try on as many dresses in an intimate setting. The store also provides a DELICIOUS Champaign bottle for up to 10 guests i believe. I had a wonderful time trying on dresses with my brides maids, mother, and aunts. I had about 8 guests and we we’re comfortably accommodated. The atmosphere is not like David’s bridal, where you are trying on dresses openly with strangers passing by and seeing. It’s very intimate and private, I absolutely loved my experience. So much so that I bought my dress the same day! I recommend every bride in the DMV to shop here. Did I mention the gown i originally wanted was 3,500 at David’s bridal. I came to ICON, and found it for over half that price. So affordable AND fabulous”

“I truly cannot express my gratitude enough for Zoya’s. This was the first and only place my parents and I looked for dresses, and the very first dress I tried on was the one. From the moment we walked in, every woman in the boutique was personable and professional. They made me feel so comfortable and celebrated throughout the entire process.
I worked specifically with Olivia, and she is simply amazing. She is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making each bride feel special and seen. Olivia turned what could have been an overwhelming experience into something that felt like a fairytale. I truly believe she is the reason I loved this process as much as I did.
I also purchased and had my dress tailored at Atelier, and Rosanna, the seamstress, is unbelievably talented. She is extremely detail-oriented and meticulous in her work. My dress fits like a glove thanks to her.

I had an abysmal experience using Generation Tux for my nephew's black tie wedding. Suit arrived laughably too large and the quality was garbage, even for a rental tux. I cancelled the order, got a refund, and walked immediately over to Anthony's Tuxedo.
Unlike Gen Tux, Anthony's has actual clothing items to try on in store. Ed took my meaurements, gave me two sizes to try on based on that, and guided me on which size looked best. I don't think I'll personally need it, but Ed also mentioned he works with a tailor nearby to get minor alterations done to pants if need be.
Anthony's Tuxedo saved me A LOT of frustration and headache. Ed saved the day.”

“I wholeheartedly recommend Lola—1000%! She tailored my wedding dress to fit me absolutely perfectly for my special day. Her craftsmanship is exceptional, and she went above and beyond by creating a bustle for my dress from scratch and transforming the bolero into beautifully fitted, removable sleeves. I had a very specific vision for the sleeves, and Lola executed it flawlessly.
During the tailoring process, whenever I had feedback and needed a few adjustments to the bustle and sleeves, Lola gladly listened and made every change with care and precision until everything was exactly as I envisioned. Lola also tailored my second wedding dress as well as my rehearsal dinner dress, and every single piece fit me like a glove.
Her tailoring skills are truly outstanding, but what sets her apart even more is her patience, understanding, kindness, and incredible ability to listen. Mei added bustles to my gown, cups to my gowns, altered the strapping on both of them, and hemmed my dress and the mother of the bride dress. This meant my parents were not able to come with me to find and see my dress. To access the store you need to be able to go up an entire flight of stairs.”

“Mae was wonderful to work with on my suit alteration. I bought a linen suit online and it unfortunately was a bit big on me. I found Fashion Center Alterations on google and thought why not give it a go! I'm headed to California for a wedding, so I needed something to be done quickly.
Upon entering, Mae was very open and welcoming to me! She was able to quickly figure out where I needed alterations just by a glance. I gave her my suit and pants to be ready by May 28th, but she got it done over a week and a half earlier. The speed and precision was astounding and the final product was even better. I've never had a suit fit me as well as this one, and it looks great!
Aside from that, she was the sweetest person ever. My wife and her conversed about being small business owners and she felt like family. Thank you again Tita Mae, we'll be back again soon :)”

“Exceptional Service from Jennifer - Feedback on Return Policy
I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at Anthropologie, particularly highlighting the outstanding service I received from Jennifer, located in Georgetown.
After a disappointing experience at the Bethesda and Fairfax locations, where staff refused to assist me with returning a lilac taper candle set of 2 without a receipt, I was feeling quite frustrated. Despite explaining that I had purchased the item from the Georgetown location just a week prior and requesting that they call for my receipt number, I was met with resistance and no resolution.
However, when I returned to the Georgetown store, Jennifer went above and beyond to help me. She not only located my receipt but also confirmed that the other locations had the capability to retrieve receipt numbers from their store. While she mentioned it would take some extra time, it was reassuring to know that a solution was possible.
Jennifer's exceptional customer service made a significant difference in my experience. She was friendly, patient, and truly exemplified what excellent customer care should be. I genuinely appreciate her efforts and will remember the positive interactions I had with her - I think it would add value to Anthropologie if all staff was trained by Jennifer.
In addition to recognizing Jennifer's exemplary service, I would like to suggest that Anthropologie consider updating its return policy. A 30 day return window for customers without receipts would be more accommodating, especially when it's clear that the product has not been used. Additionally, implementing a system for customers to select receipt emails or texts upon purchase, particularly for transactions involving gift cards, would be a helpful improvement. This would prevent situations like mine, where my gift card was discarded after use.
