TJ and I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge how incredible both Helena and Kathleen have been with our son. As you know our lives have been totally flipped upside down with this insurance claim and hotel life. Being at school is like a second home for our so. Over the summer he had so much anxiety with the changes of being at school and away from us. Helena and Kathleen suggested we keep him a kitten until December while he got his footing. Since they were familiar faces and everything in his home life would be unfamiliar it seemed like the logical choice going into the school year and it turned out to be the best choice we’ve made.

He is thriving with them. He loves his friends his has made, he sings his ABCs, he counts to 10, he tells us all about his day and loves looking at all of his pictures from the day when he gets home. From being scared to walk into the building and throwing up every day from anxiety to asking to see his teachers and friends when we are at home. We couldn’t have asked for better teachers and we really felt it in our hearts to let you and Michael know just how incredible these two women are. Teachers are some of the most undervalued people and we are sure to a lot of families you guys are just a place to just drop off their kids while they are working but for us we wanted a place where our son could feel like it was his second home. Helena and Kathleen have taken such care and time with him and worked with him at his pace to build trust. The other day I was moved to tears when I got a video of him painting by himself for the first time. There has been a lot of darknesses lately but these two ladies have helped give us so much light and we are truly grateful. We are so incredibly sad that his time as a kitten is winding down but we will be forever grateful to them for giving him a strong springboard into his education. These things really do matter.

Thank you so much Goddard and the Kittens class for allowing our sweet boy the space to grow and feel safe and for giving us his parents the comfort knowing that he is ok, and that with love and guidance at Goddard the sky is the limit. Our hearts are full. At a time when so much seems so unsure this just seems so right. We are forever grateful, thank you for this. These teachers should be celebrated to the max. They are the reason we stayed at Goddard!!!”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Primrose School of Downtown Bethesda. The teachers truly care about the children. Both of our kids were always so excited to see their teachers and classmates at drop off and were smiling just as much at pickup. We started off with a 2 year old at Primrose, who went through preK, and when our second child was born we started him as an infant without hesitation, since we knew he would be so well cared for. All the teachers, even those who never specifically had our kids, knew our children’s names. Our kids grew here in terms of their education, but even more important to us, was that they were safe and loved while they learned. Our family recommends this school without hesitation and are so grateful for our time there.”

“Wonders is truly the best! As a working mom, I felt confident knowing my son was in a supportive environment where he could thrive.

The administration team, teachers, and overall system are all excellent. During my son’s time there, he had the same homeroom teachers throughout the academic year, which provided consistency and stability. I did not have high expectations for the curriculum at first as they are babies, but it turned out to be excellent and offered detailed feedback on my child’s development. Moreover, Wonders felt like a true community where families could connect and feel supported.

Our family had some of our most meaningful moments during my son’s toddler years thanks to Wonders. We are sad to leave as we are moving to a different state, but I wanted to leave this review for other moms who are looking for a reliable childcare community.”

“My kid had an amazing time here! The staff, Rihanna, was so helpful, kind and great with kids. My daughter loved the spaceship ride and had such a good time that she wants to have her birthday party here. The area was clean and there was plenty of space. I’m so glad to have a go to place for indoor play.”
