“This place has been here forever and the Starbucks in Balducci‘s make it a staple in the Bethesda area. Really wondering if they are going to knock it down and build something else here as they did on the property to the left of the shopping center.”
“Montgomery Mall is one of those places that feels like it’s been preserved in a time capsule—in the best way. I spent many of my formative high school years here hanging out with friends, so every visit brings back great memories.
Over the years, the mall has remained a familiar gathering place with a nice mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment. Whether you’re looking to spend a few hours browsing stores or simply reminiscing, it’s worth the visit.
On a personal note, I hope one day to open a successful LE/HAUX 33 storefront here. It would be an incredible full-circle moment to build a business in a place that played such a meaningful role in my youth.”
“A great little shopping center although the parking can be a hassle. Fantastic array of small shops with a hardware store, variety shop, and awesome bakery with year-round hamentashen.”
“Multiple good, convenient shops.
Giant, DSW, Capital One Bank, PokiDC, Not Your Average Joe's, Subway, Flippin Pizza, Georgetown Beer and Wine, etc.”

“Ample parking, decent selection of stores. As I type this in January of 2025, the parking lot is so caked in salt it is insane! There hasn't been snow in well over 45 days! There us there is zero reason for the level of salt and chemicals (some of the colored type ice melt is out too). I dont want to expose my car to that amount of salt for a rundown the grocery or to grab a coffee or pastry, so I go to the shops just up Mass. Ave., on West Bard instead.”
“Beautiful neighborhood, plenty of good restaurants & shopping areas. Near farmers market, trails for biking, walking the dogs, jogging or walking. Many outdoor restaurants that are pet friendly.”
