“Parks and Rec had a wonderful heritage celebration and invited a petting zoo you could mingle among the beautiful farm animals like they were pets! It was like Noah's ark in there everyone so happy having a wonderful day on the sun! There was also a metal forging demonstration.. oh wow!!? Everyone on staff and bringing the fun there were so friendly and nice. The history of the place just amazing!! It was an all out great time so check it out here in Bowie, I'll be back!! ??”

“My sister & I recently celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday at the Overdue Recognition Art Gallery in and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The space is absolutely beautiful, featuring powerful and inspiring artwork by Black artists that created such a unique and meaningful atmosphere for the celebration.

The gallery doubles as an event space, and it was the perfect venue for such a special milestone. The food was delicious, and our guests are still talking about how great everything tasted!

Most importantly, the owners and staff were wonderful, warm, and extremely accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and that our family and guests felt welcomed and taken care of.

“Very nice playhouse! The appealing auditorium is large and open with great acoustics. The entire facility is modern and well presented.
There is a wide variety of shows on offer there. The website gives details of shows to come besides the standards for the Halloween and Christmas seasons.
Staff was very friendly and professional. Plentiful parking. Looking forward to going again.”
