“I took in a fecal sample for a test. The two person team was efficient. My observation was that they did not greet me or acknowledge me when I stood at the booth where they were working. When they finally acknowledged my presence they were curt, and did not greet me or smile once during the whole ten minutes of my stay. I know that it’s more important to be efficient than nice, still… it made me feel unwelcome and that it was a big bother to be pleasant. I hope this comment is helpful.”

“Great experience!!! I have an extremely anxious senior chihuahua, Pop, and I took him to Caring Hands Clarendon to establish care. He was so anxious about being at the vet that he was shivering in the lobby, but he instantly warmed up once he met Dr. Goff and the lovely veterinarian technicians (I cannot remember their names - sorry). My pup is not exactly a people person, but he was really relaxed and actually enjoyed being with the staff there. The entire experience was great, from scheduling to getting bloodwork results.The medical team made the visit go extremely well, and they performed a thorough exam of Pop, including tonometry (required touching his eye, and I was surprised they were able to do it). They also explained the cost (financial) and benefit of every procedure/vaccine before they did it. I have seen some reviews mention affordability, and I think the prices are very reasonable… also, without my asking, they applied a 10% discount so I ended up being surprised by a cheaper price at checkout.I will be going back for dental surgery, and I received an estimate that includes a range of what the cost could be because it will depend on the number of extractions needed. I appreciated the transparency in what the maximum cost could be. And the price for dental surgery also seems reasonable to me. Also, the estimated price included an offer for a 10% discount if scheduled in the next month.I didn’t get the sense that the staff there was concerned with anything other than Pop’s health and getting him the best quality of care they could (while being mindful of the cost). Pop and I will be coming to this practice as long as Dr. Goff is there… not to say that the other vets aren’t also good,r but I haven’t met them yet. But the entire team (including receptionist!) that I did meet was wonderful.”
“I have too many pets (2 cats, 3 dogs) and am so grateful to have found this practice. Dr. Silver and his staff are excellent. I appreciate his expertise and experience. Another huge plus is how responsive the practice is when one of my pets needs attention soon but not necessarily so quickly as to require a trip to the animal hospital for immediate care. Everyone at the practice is competent and a pleasure to interact with.”
“Cherrydale Vet is fantastic! The staff are always very sweet and friendly with my dog -- she tends to be a bit anxious and hyper when she first comes in and they do a great job with giving her time to get familiarized with them and helping her settle down before proceeding with the examinations. In certain cases, they are also willing to give treatment advice over phone or email which can be really helpful in terms of saving us an unnecessary trip to the vet (not to mention a bill too!). Would absolutely recommend them for any pet owners.”

I also had Tokyo, Lauren, and Wiley (I hope I spelled their names right) who took care of my cat. They all had excellent customer service and I’m happy they enjoyed being around my cat. “We always are pleased with our visits to Merrifield Animal Hospital. Dr. Baird is a patient, kind, thorough, friendly and knowledgeable veterinarian. Our cat, who hates travel, loves her and put up with inoculations and nail clipping with minimal protest. The staff was also nice and we were taken in on time. “I had been experiencing a very bad rash on my dog ( Lola ) I had taken her to several doctors and no one could cure her. I became so so desperate that I was lead to bringing her here. I will never take her no where else. My dog is happy and getting back healthy within a week of treatment! Not only that they’re pricing are reasonable and great caring staff members. “I really like this place so far. I had to come here a few more time before making a review so I could give more feedback. First off don't let the outside appearance stray you away from this place because at first it did to me. My friend recommended this place and I thought it was odd because it's an actual house. Haha. But this house is converted into a full animal hospital, which is super cool. There is a parking lot that can hold about 8 vehicles only but I never had an issue with parking because they schedule their appointments good enough where it's never too busy. You do have to call them before entering as well. Just a heads up. The staff? Is fabulous! They are so nice! There is a lady over the phone name Jenn that is so nice and helpful! There is a tech named Marcus that handled my dog Eevee so well! They take pet insurance here as well. They will charge you first and then you submit the bill to your insurance company to get the credit back. I will definitely continue to come here. Their prices are reasonable as well. I compared them to other places around Montgomery County and they beat most of their pricing. Glad my dog is in good hands!”

“Family Pet Vet is the absolute best. Dr. Wehrli is so compassionate and authentic. And, not only is Dr. Wehrli the best, but his staff is my absolute favorite. In particular Beatriz and Cai! They have so much love for all the animals. They are so kind and helpful. We had a really serious surgery with our older dog and they were so helpful in walking me through everything and getting him out and into the car to help me. When our dog ended up passing they were so compassionate. We now have a new puppy and they are just as loving. I feel like they are a truly family vet practice.”
