“I can’t recommend Mora Tires enough. I needed new tires badly and kept putting it off because the process became overwhelming.
I called Mora Tires on a whim and they made everything so easy. From the first call to him going out of his way to wash his hands before handing me my key when they were finished, the customer service was wonderful. I called at 11 a.m. and had new tires on my car by 2:30; zero hassle.
I left thinking about how refreshing it was to have such a great experience getting my car serviced. Also, the price was great (win-win).
The location’s perfect, too. There are so many great food options down Eastern Ave., or you can grab a coffee or post up to work at OvenBird a few blocks away.

“We LOVE J&H! Honestly, I wish we had found them sooner…
After our former “weekend-warrior” chain service center closed, we asked a transmission shop (who was currently servicing one of our vehicles) about an honest, reasonable, and competent mechanic -- they referred us to J&H. From the first visit, I was thoroughly impressed. From the owner to the mechanics to the office staff, everyone is patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and honest (which is a VERY rare trait in society these days).
Unless they’re crazy swamped, they provide a digital/electronic car condition report at each service inclusive of pictures. Yes, you heard that right – so not only do they tell you what needs done, but this shows you... giving you an added level of assurance. They proactively monitor various aspects of your vehicle as well as tending to the items you’ve requested them repair/replace. Additionally, when they’ve made service recommendations, they’ve been honest about whether it’s something that needs done now, sooner than later, or if it’s something that can safely wait to be addressed at another time if you’re like us and trying to budget for car maintenance. If you’re uncertain how something impacts your vehicle, they’ll patiently explain what you need done and why it’s important.
We’ve been customers of J&H for several years now, trusting them with multiple cars of ours that we rely on heavily to commute to work, chauffeur our kids and their friends to/from school and events, and to trek long distances for vacation/family. I value their work and their perspective to the extent that I take any new vehicle in our household to them to inspect and I ensure before any long road trips that we get our vehicle into them for service to ensure a smooth, uneventful trek.
I’m grateful for J&H – for the invaluable piece of mind I now have with our vehicles (that are our livelihood and our freedom) in their care.”

“I scheduled for an oil change and the morning I was dropping off the car, the radiator sprung a major leak. AutoWerkes evaluated the issue and replaced the radiator the following day. That is, fitting in the repair immediately into their workload. I purchased the BMW 335i from them in 2016 and they continue to be my sole source repair shop. Excellent service, extremely knowledgeable, committed to maintaining the car, and I enjoy working with them.”

“I had 2 tires replaced here, recommended by my car mechanic who I trust very much. When I first got to the shop. I explained to the mechanic as we were walking to my car, that I had a few tire leaks and I needed them to find the faulty tires.
When I got the car back, I left the next day for a 10 hr road trip up north. Halfway during the trip, I stopped for the night to sleep. In the morning my one old tire was completely flat, sitting on the ground. I was able to get air in it and continue the trip, but I needed air every 2-3 days in that tire.
This continued for a week until I drove back home on the same tire.
When I got back to Baltimore I took my car to my mechanic who found a rip in the tire.
I called interstate to explain that I would like one of my old tires put back on and the issue resolved because I explained to the initial mechanic that there was other issues with my tires besides the tread. They said they didn’t see a note by the mechanic I spoke to. But that they would look for a tire for me. They ended up doing everything they could to get me squeezed in and to resolve the issue to the point where I didn’t have to use my spare anymore.
Exceptional service and the guys really care. As a tradesman myself, I have a lot of respect for these guys and their problem solving skills.”

They’ve done my lift kits, ProCharger install, various repairs, and even replaced the engine on my daily driver to keep it running strong. Ryan, TJ, and the entire crew are top notch — always professional, honest, and skilled at what they do.

“UPDATE: I had initially written a bad review for Brooks-Huff In Towson off York Rd. for damaging the finish on my wheels when I came in for a balancing service. I was very disappointed and upset with my impression of this business. Tim rang me a call over my cellphone earlier and I had missed his call, he left me a nice voicemail stating that he is very sorry about this incident and that he had read the review. He ensured that he would take care of this issue and this is not an accurate representation on how their business operates.Tim explained that he will be gone for the week but to call back the following week to schedule something for them to take care of the issue. I am very appreciative for them owning up and offering to fix the damage they have done, especially because not a lot of businesses would do the same in our day and age. Brooks-Huff Tire & Auto Center in Towson is now a stand out to me and I am very pleased that they offered to fix the damage. My recommendation has changed and so has my outlook on this business just for offering to make things right. “Typically we ladies always get ripped off in the field of anything Automotive, BUT I went to this location, met with Mr Reggie and told him my budget for new tires for my son’s truck. I received excellent service. Not only was their pricing affordable but I didn’t get that ripped off Feeling. Ladies this is a great place to get your car serviced!!

They have a shuttle service to drop you back home but not so great about picking you back up. Which I don't care. I still will take my car to them even if I have to Uber to pick up the car. I had squeaky brakes and another shop quoted me at $1100 because they said I needed new brakes, rotors, calipers, piston press etc… I took my car here and they said the brakes were fine they just needed some lubricant and minor adjustments. Haven’t heard any squeaking since and saved around $1000. This shop’s honesty is refreshing in a world where everyone is just trying to squeeze every penny they can out of you. Highly recommend.”

I've been to this place a few different times already as my car isn't exactly in the best condition. Each time, they've been extremely helpful, friendly, fast, and honest. It's unfortunate that people have to worry about businesses taking advantage of them, but I guarantee that Schultz is not one to worry about. They're good people. If you're looking for a reputable shop, you should give them a chance as well. They've earned my continued business.”
