“Times have changed, Oakdale is in a new phase of its life span with new owners. Dude with the tattoos Named Allen, is a phenomenal worker and gives his all and endures the wrath. The lady on the other hand is why so many workers and customers are abandoning the place, it's lost its soul. In a span of a year, 4 workers have quit due to mental health issues. She's managed to put herself on a toxic pedestal to look down on her workers, even not paying them. All she does is sit and point give you a fake smile and laugh and start belittling you, even her hardest workers. I'd recommend coming in past 5 or 6pm, as a former employee and keyholder/manager those are the best hours. It's hard being appreciated when you have a 4 face manager making you wish you didn't exist while also struggling for a whole month financially.”

Surprised that a prior reviewer did not find here the range of beer, wine and liquor he was looking for because I have always found a wide range of excellent options at this store. It is not spacious like the Total Wine store in Laurel, but I am always surprised at the range of options they have packed into this store. And, if I am failing to remember the name of an obscure beer or liquor, I have yet to find the staff ignorant of what I am seeking. For those rare requests, as when I was trying to obtain a whiskey unavailable to a friend in another state, the store owner investigated as to its availability in Maryland and obtained it for me in a couple days.”

“I love this place .They have literally anything you could possibly want. You need 8 kinds of Chartreuse? They have what ever that it .5 kinds of Absinthe or every Pisco they make in Peru , Or that Whisky they mentioned on NPR. They had it first. They have the things you didn't know you needed.The best neighborhood liquor store ever.”

“Awesome ambiance, clean, bright, cheerful interior. Unlimited pani puri...stand at the pani puri counter and have ur bowl constantly refilled. Pani puri stuffing is already mashed up ..pros and cons about this methodology ( prefer to have unmashed stuffing), slightly spicy but delicious. Had hot samosas... best in the world. ..fresh, hot, crispy.”

“People here are very nice and genuine. When I used to live in Baltimore, this was my main liquor store. Always clean inside. They have a very huge selection of wine and other drinks. Would have given five stars but there are a few larger, nearby liquor stores with more extensive inventories with great depth of products. One even has a cigar room. Montgomery Plaza is the best liquor store in the immediate area. Trivia: Named Montgomery Plaza Liquors as the shopping center used to be (still is?) called Montgomery Plaza; around 1967 Montgomery Ward was built at the current location of Wal-Mart thus, the origin of the name”
