“I had an emergency situation. Needed to be appropriately dressed for an orthodox wedding at 6 PM, and I walked in to Hat Box at 4 PM. In no time at all, I was shown a nice selection of suits, fitted professionally, got all my accessories, and even got the hems of the pants done while I waited. They cut the tags off everything by 5:30, and I arrived at the wedding right on time, looking & feeling great. Got lots of compliments, too. You will not go wrong shopping at the Hat Box in Pikesville.”

“I was so glad I decided to make the trip to Ellicott City SPECIFICALLY to check out E.C.Pops. They have an amazing selection of unique Maryland related items, as well as literal wall to wall rooms of uniquely flavored sodas, candies, popcorns, cotton candy..the list goes on and on. I stocked up on lots of apparel and our signature JO spice to take back south with me. The customer service was top notch and the vibes were emaculate. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m home to see what’s new. It’s worth the stop if you’re in town, and I’d go so far as to say it’s worth the trip if you’re not! Heck, I drove up from Louisiana! “Buy your Baltimore streetwear here! Black, locally owned and operated, this boutique has urban designs ready to hit the streets. Originally I was looking for styles for my brother, but Miles Thomas a designer, asked me to try on an outfit. It was tie-dye from head to toe, but it worked! Unexpected finds like this are one of a kind... sooo I dropped my dough and walked out a happy customer. If you need to update your closet for the fall, I highly recommend checking them out. “Stopped in while visiting Baltimore with a friend. I love little shops that aren't just cheap souvenirs but actual handcrafted items that have a story and really come from a place that loves its history. We met one of the owners, Charlie, who I could have talked to for hours. Things are reasonably priced, I felt everything was more than worth it. I bought a few small items and a cross body bag. I've already started using the bag and it's really well made. My things feel safe and secure. Thank you so much for keeping such a wonderful store lively and so well thought out.”

“Almost every Aerie I've been to has had friendly employees but one associate here was beyond amazing in helping me get "long" 7/8 leggings as they are not yet available in that length in store. Also she encouraged a purchase that I had no idea what size to get (most of my clothes are aerie but this was out the box for me) and it was perfect. I wish I remembered her name but she has dark hair and I think glasses. Thank you so much!! I was worried this outfit would look horrible but her encouragement helped a TON”

“Different regard is outstanding! I came in a month before my wedding and they custom tailored a suit for me in a few short weeks, designed and made locally here in Baltimore. There was plenty of time for fitting and last minute details before the wedding. With all the chaos of planning a wedding, they were a bright spot of tranquility. The service is warm, friendly and outstanding. The quality is amazing. The style is the highest level. So many compliments on the suit at the wedding. This is my clothing store from now on!”
“Had a two night stay next to the store. I saw belts through the window on the wall display. I tend to destroy belts. First used for dress up occasions then go to Construcion use. Belts from Kohl's that my wife buys for me, just don't hold up. These are made in USA, thick leather. The belts cost more than belts from China but will last so much longer. Even though I came to the store looking maybe a little better than homeless, the person working was kind, polite, and helpful. Sorry to Allen Edmonds for eventually using these two new belt in horrible conditions.”

My sister just married an Indian man and I came here for outfits for the engagement party (green, yellow, and gold lehenga) as well as the wedding reception (yellow, teal, and pink lehenga). I felt beautiful in the outfits and jewelry, and I got tons of compliments. The employees at India in Style were very welcoming to my white family and super helpful to us navigating the intricacies of the events and dress codes. I'll be coming here again for any big events in the future with my lovely new Indian family!”
