“EC Pops is a busy staple with something for everyone. The shop is colorful, crowded, and full of activity, clearly aimed at families, tourists, and locals passing through.
They sell a wide mix of treats—popcorn, candy, sodas, chocolates, and novelty items—making it more of an old-fashioned general sweets shop than a single-product store. The popcorn selection is large, but it’s part of a broader lineup rather than the whole story. Quality is solid across the board, portions are generous, and prices are reasonable for the area.
It’s not refined or quiet, but that’s the appeal. EC Pops leans into variety, nostalgia, and volume, and it works.”
“What a great place for real, true sneaker heads! Anytime I’m in town (usually once or twice a quarter, as I’m in New York) I always prioritize to hop off 95/295 and stop in to Sold Out. Last two visits, I’ve purchased over $700 in kicks.
Great staff, welcoming atmosphere and no hassle shopping experience. If you really have an “eagle eye”, you will find a “steal” or “jewel” in your size.

“OMG we are so excited to have met Steve and Dominick. My husband and I spent more than 2 hours with them yesterday, designing a bespoke tuxedo and a dress to wear at a black-tie optional wedding. We CANNOT wait for the finished items! They pulled our ideas from our heads and knew what would work. Run, don't walk, to meet these guys at their beautiful showroom in Mt. Vernon. The have gorgeous off the rack clothing and can probably design any item of clothing you have in mind.”
“Stopped into The Cowboy looking for a full western outfit for our courthouse wedding, and it couldn’t have gone better. The shop has everything — boots, jeans, hats, bolo ties, and all the details that make the look complete.

“AMAZING!!! I initially wanted to shop online and pickup but I decided to call before going in I went in for last minute vacation clothes for my son. John Cash waited for me to arrive and had already had what we discussed over the phone on the counter and even had options for me to choose from , & offered for me to call him if I had any issues. His customer service is amazing and the clothing quality is excellent! I had a small discrepancy with one of the shirts being too small and he communicated with me the entire time offering me an exchange! I will continue spending my money with CASHLAND! Most clothing stores will not care after you spend your money he understands the key is for long term customers and he has one in me from now on!”

Kay is very pleasant and welcoming, with a smile. You can see it in her eyes, even with a mask on. James was also very pleasant and welcoming. “I had an emergency situation. Needed to be appropriately dressed for an orthodox wedding at 6 PM, and I walked in to Hat Box at 4 PM. In no time at all, I was shown a nice selection of suits, fitted professionally, got all my accessories, and even got the hems of the pants done while I waited. They cut the tags off everything by 5:30, and I arrived at the wedding right on time, looking & feeling great. Got lots of compliments, too. You will not go wrong shopping at the Hat Box in Pikesville.”
