“We went for the MD Stuffed Ham. You can order the sandwich but we ordered a pound because 1 Sammie wasn't going to be enough. It is excellent and we've had this local specialty from several places in Charles & St Mary's Counties. This is in the top 3 places. We also got a 2 piece fried chicken basket with wedge potatoes. DELISH, fried chicken. We should have ordered more of that also, will next time. We also got a piece of Smith Island cake, another Southern MD, Fav treat. They have flavors I've never seen before. I'll come here in the future to get my Smith Island cake fix in the future, also DELISH.There is raw meat, a limited amount for sale also and we bought a pound of hot sausage to try later.Take cash or a plastic credit card. “Today is my birthday, fried chicken is my favorite and each year my wife either cooks or goes out for it. The past few years the chicken came from Popeyes and WalMart which was a disappointment. This year Chaptico Market and Deli provided the chicken dinner with all the sides for my birthday dinner. I just have to say it was as good as folks said. They get a big thumbs up!
