“You will never leave this store empty-handed. There are so many "necessary" things that you must buy. The assortment is diverse, from food to products for the garden. Some products are at least twice cheaper than the price in other supermarkets. Super store.”

“Today was my first time visiting this location and it was wonderful. Sandie was so helpful and I couldn't thank her enough. I was exhausted, losing my voice, and needed balloons for a coworker's last day tomorrow. I found out there is a helium shortage and the first store I went to said they were out. Sandie said her gauge showed it was just about empty, but she tried anyway. I'm so appreciative, she was able to inflate the balloons and save me from driving around trying to find a store with helium. I certainly didn't have the strength to do that, so I'm thankful for Sandie and people like her who care enough to go above and beyond.”
“I went looking for someone to help me in houseware. Found a girl named Stacey. She went out of her way to help me for two totally different items. One I needed a measurement on a large flower pot. She went and got a tape measure to measure it. Next she went back to sticking her shelves and I found accent tables for my deck with no price. She went and got a scanner and gave me the price. She was a big help and had a smile on while doing it. Kudos to you.”

“Just had a remodel done on the 7th of July. First remodel since the store opened in 1985!!! I have to say they did a great job utilizing the space provided. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and hardworking. The store is well stocked, clean, and the merchandise is easily accessible. By far one of the cheapest retail stores in the area. I recommend stopping in for quick shopping trips or you can also browse more due to the utilization of the space. All and all I'm impressed with this store in particular and will be a frequent shopper there from now on.”

“These stores have fascinated me since I discovered them when traveling in New England. Now they have moved to Pennsylvania. The selections change. I have found that incredible bargains pop up— especially on seasonal items. Yet, not all items offer substantial reductions. An exception are the specials which often net a free purchase after you receive the purchase amount in store credit.
I often stock up on their excellent selection of pet treats. They offer a wide selection of gourmet foods. Another novelty is an area which features “free” foods to keep or donate. If you purchase 10 $s or more worth of these you receive a gift card equivalent for future purchases— no time limit.
I highly recommend these retailers for the novelty they offer and some name brands at deep discount. The stores are neatly stocked, bright and offer different brands than sold by their competitors. There may be lesser savings for everyday purchases which is my reason for removing a star.”
“If you go into a dollar store expecting things that simply can't happen the staff is not being rude. You are being unreasonable. As discount stores go this one is one of the best around. “Ignorant cashier, other line was held up, so she takes one person and I ask do you want me to go back over there she says snottily, you're already here, no thank you or nothing like she was doing me a favor, this is the one at Salem Ctr, the one at Sunset station isn't any better. “Cahiers have great customer service but ever since there was a change in management the place is tore up from the floor up be careful going down the isles 2/8/21 went into dollar general tonight place was a mess got hurt and no one came my nephew had to help me because I was traped with my cart the freezer and a dolly with items on it I don't understand a you can have a ace look like this and no one there to do anything lines are long with one one cashier and no one in the isles to help you my advice is stay out of it unless you want to get hurt by something falling on you”

“Just stopped at the Dollar General for a few items. I have to say this is the nicest DG I have been in in a very long time. When you walk in it smells clean, the cashier said hello. While browsing aisles, items are stocked and prices are marked correctly (items in correct spots). You could easily use a shopping cart without hitting over stock. I have found in other stores it is difficult to do so because merchandise blocks the aisle way. I am very impressed and will be visiting this location more often!!”
