“Great visit to Avon Paint & Wallpaper in Chester. The staff helped me understand the ongoing govt regs re old-school oil-based exterior primer that I needed for the interior walls of my retirement project - my backyard observatory. Observatory interior walls, when the roof is opened to the night sky are exposed to dew-like-rain. The walls, floor and optical equipment can be soaked and the steel roof drip akin to a Spring shower. With the roof closed coastal Maryland tropical humidity requires environmental controls of a window AC unit and dehumidifier. The Ben Moore staff set me up with their latest exterior oil-based primer (and tips for use). I walked out with 2 gallons and will be back for more AND supplies. After the Observatory...I have a list of long-deferred home painting projects in the wings. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.”
