“This place is a hidden gem that is super popular with locals. I have passed it more times than I can count, even went in for cold drinks to carry me back home to Baltimore County a few times. I had no idea they served food or that it was absolutely amazing. I got to try their food for the first time last year and was impressed. My brother scheduled his outdoor wedding to take place at a nearby venue that doesn't serve food. I wanted to provide picnic style food to match the "boho" vibe of the occasion. Etchison Country Store came through! I ordered 100 pieces of fried chicken, a gallon of potato salad and a gallon of macaroni salad. The food was ready on time, the chicken was hot, the salads were high quality and fresh. Everything was outstanding! The guests raved about the food as they gobbled it up. :-) Chip, the owner is wonderful. Great communication and customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to order from Etchison Country Store again in the future. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Thanks again, Chip!”

“They make fresh eggs for breakfast. 5 stars for that alone. They have a full size griddle, not just a bunch of microwaves like the vast majority of places in Maryland. The fresh baked croissants are delicious too. They also have beer and wine. This place always looks clean, especially the food prep area. Employees are all friendly. The bathrooms sometimes don’t get cleaned regularly though. Not awful, but sometimes it looks like it’s been a few days since someone cleaned the toilet bowl. That should be done every shift. Sometimes it looks very clean. Just not consistent. Very well run business besides that. Good job!”

“The staff here are mature and very kind. I have come to this gas station since 2002. They have a routine cleaning schedule three times daily for restrooms and they have more security cameras on live streams than you may think. Their prices on drinks and gas are competitive and there is also a Subway inside! I highly recommend paying a visit. They may have staff on their team from time to time that are learning English, so please be patient and don’t get frustrated or misjudge them! 100%”

“Poolesville CVS is a warm, friendly place to shop. They had replaced Planet Oat, extra creamy oatmilk with a smaller, less desirable, more expensive brand in a plastic bottle.After shopping there, I was asked to take a survey. I told them how much it matters to the growing Vegan community in our town, that someone carries a good and decent brand of Oat Milk.I was surprised to receive an email from the manager saying that they were able to bring Planet Oat back to CVS. Today, I went to the store and saw it back in stock! Regular, and extra creamy. 5 of each, instead of just 3 of each. Amazing.Thank you CVS!”

“This is another place I like . This is called 7-Eleven . This has a good sized parking area . It has things from stationary stuff, to snacks , magazines , to sodas and coffees , Hot Chocolates , To The infamous Slurpees , and Big Gulps , to freezer sodas ,doughnuts ,and sandwiches , Bags of Ice , and More . They have Hot Dogs , Tacitos , And Pizzas . The place is clean and everything in its proper places and catagorized . They have playing cards, and sports Wear at times such as Knit caps to regular caps , to Gloves , And Scarves . They have cigaretts behind the counter near the cashiers . “I've been going here a long time, over half a decade if I remember correctly, and I've never once had a problem with this 7-11. The staff is friendly and open to small talk so that it isn't as awkward waiting for your stuff to ring up. The selection and deals change pretty frequently, but that can be seen as a good thing to those wanting a little more variety. The store is well kept and clean, and it is easy to redeem and make the most out of 7-Rewards here, as the staff never give you a hard time about using the app. I really do recommend this 7-11 to those either coming once or as a regular customer, because either way, I doubt you won't be pleased.”

If you desire, you can even get a car wash.When inside to grab a couple of snacks. Bathroom is clean, and this store is well lit. Even late on a Sunday, the coffee area was well stocked.Lots of automation is used in the store. From self, ordering kiosks, to self check out, automation is available to move you along quickly.Also, there is signage everywhere. From the parking spaces to indoors. Easily to find whatever you need and what deals they are offering.Overall, not a bad experience”

“I like to go here after visiting the Amish market. It's a little shocking to go from The Amish Atmosphere to the plexiglass shielded lottery dispensing culture. Yelp does not have A business category for lottery hangout. It would really be helpful if they would label the price of their beer. I'm glad to find Antietam beer, especially the IPA which Has nice body, and outstanding flavor hops. Reminds me of the two hearted ale.”

“A wonderful place I use to get beer late at night. No I'm not an alcoholic, but my week tends to end very early on Friday mornings. So as long as I'm there before 2am I'll get myself a 6 pack of Flying Dog. To celebrate the end of the work week. Folk here are friendly, though they are often doing anything and everything they can to stop themselves falling asleep. Apart from that they stock the best beer in the area. (Flying Dog) they have a great selection of snacks to go with. Sometimes better than Giant down the road. Win win!”
