I sent a simple email when it was time to pick it up and he came and got it. I wish all transactions were this simple. The portable unit was sturdy, clean and perfectly fit my needs. “We moved from a 3rd floor apartment (no elevator) to a 4th floor apartment (no elevator) and not only did Nathan G. and Curtis J. transport ELEVEN bookshelves, two couch, and a heavy mattress safely, they made the whole experience fun and relaxed. “Pack Rat did a great job helping me with a container for storage on my property during home renovations. Pricing (especially with a special promotion) was very reasonable, and the driver took extra care to place the container exactly where I wanted it. Drop off took a little longer because the container was loaded backwards due to confusion about direction for the door openings, but the driver worked through it without a problem. Would definitely recommend Pack Rat!”
“So I'll start by saying I loved this companies service. We were scheduled with another mover for the 15 of Dec (made the reservation weeks in advance) they canceled on us on the 14th of Dec. So in a panic I start calling every moving company in the DMV. After being told there is no availability by 5 companies I got in touch with Walter's Moving. Not only did they find a way to fit us in they adjusted my planned pick up and drop off schedule (two pick up locations) to save me money. The team shows up an hour EARLIER than scheduled huge plus to me. They are all incredibly nice and fully masked up. They were quick extremely neat and even made a second trip to pick up a few things that didn't fit on the truck the first time. Nothing was broken no walls were marked (they put up cardboard on the walls and layed plastic on the floor). I am recommending this company to everyone we know. Also, a big thing for my family is supporting black owned and run businesses and this company is. I can't quite express how much this crew saved my move day.”
