They showed up promptly on time, were professional, wrapped everything to protect the furniture, laid down tarps to keep the floors clean, and reassembled everything upon arrival at the new home. They were very personable and polite. Great team to work with. We highly recommend them for your move and we’d use them again if another need arises.”

“So I'll start by saying I loved this companies service. We were scheduled with another mover for the 15 of Dec (made the reservation weeks in advance) they canceled on us on the 14th of Dec. So in a panic I start calling every moving company in the DMV. After being told there is no availability by 5 companies I got in touch with Walter's Moving. Not only did they find a way to fit us in they adjusted my planned pick up and drop off schedule (two pick up locations) to save me money. The team shows up an hour EARLIER than scheduled huge plus to me. They are all incredibly nice and fully masked up. They were quick extremely neat and even made a second trip to pick up a few things that didn't fit on the truck the first time. Nothing was broken no walls were marked (they put up cardboard on the walls and layed plastic on the floor). I am recommending this company to everyone we know. Also, a big thing for my family is supporting black owned and run businesses and this company is. I can't quite express how much this crew saved my move day.”

“Had a very positive experience on customer service side of this company, Guardian Moving & Storage Co, Inc. when trying to schedule delivery dates. As a military family moving from overseas back to the D.C. area, we had a tight timeline and the original company that was assigned our job could not meet our date requirements. One customer service representative, Diontay, went out of his way to help us schedule our move-in that met our needs. Our delivery date is the end of July, so I will update this review once that happens.”

“We had a great experience with a complicated move using Orly. We were downsizing from a place where we had lived for 30 years—we had Orly do much of the packing. Then we sent several rooms of furniture to our each of our kids (including one in Colorado) and put the remainder in storage for a few months, until our new lease started. Liz in the office handled the details efficiently and proactively. And the guys who moved the furniture were wonderful (from our house to 3 different places, including storage, and then from storage to our apartment). They treated our things like they owned them. They were extremely careful and efficient. We were very impressed and recommend Orly highly.”
