“I have been volunteering at Wilson Parrot Foundation for 4 months and have really enjoyed learning about parrots and their care. They have a room for the small parrots, three large aviaries for the big parrots, and most of the main level for the medium size parrots. I love that they all have cages but are always open so they can socialize and roam. They are well fed every day with fresh fruit and veggies, pellets, and water in each cage. The big birds have huge wooden structures they can climb all over. I recommend this non profit if you want an interesting volunteering experience and really helping the birds.”

“Love this pet store! It is very small so if you don't need something hyper-specific and are just doing routine shopping, you can walk in and out very quickly. The staff go above and beyond!!!”

“Maria helped place a Freelance Feline to help control our rodent issue, and she was communicative, friendly, and set expectations on the process. It is wonderful to have a program that provides a safe home for feral cats and naturally reduces the rodent population!”

“We have been patrons of Tractor Supply in 3 states now. The Mt Airy TSC is great. The stall are not running to hide from the customers. Rather, they are happy to help. They have a great inventory as well.”

“Conveniently located but it goes beyond that. My wife and I were fostering a dog, I came here with a few questions. The gentleman behind the counter came around and showed me options for a teething puppy. He was very friendly, didn't try to hard push anything, and seemed to actually care by asking questions and engaging with me. Was very nice to experience because you don't find this in many places these days. Will be back

And the puppy LOVED his recommendation (and found his forever home)”

“The healthiest fish and most knowledgeable and ethical owner in the tri-state area. I drive one hour to get there because I know that its worth it. This place is a gem. Disregard any negative reviews from Karens who can't or won't control their children from putting their hands in tanks. Respect the owner's hours and establishment. You will be rewarded with the best advice and healthiest tanks. Frank Neuber Boyce, Virginia”

“This place has everything I need to not only take care of my 6 month old puppy but everything I can think of to pamper her as well. Their prices are reasonable, and the Grooming Salon here, at this location anyway, is top-notch.”
