“Clean, well organized, helpful staff, quality products, it’s what I nostalgically remember what a hardware store should be.I usually pass by the big box stores to frequent Clark’s when I need something for the house or the yard. Expectations have to be realistic, they don’t have the variety of the larger stores but they generally have what I need and the prices are competitive.Big pluses….they actually fill propane tanks, they sell high end tool and outdoor cooking brands, the hardware section is organized and easy to find the right sizes, and the staff know what they are talking about.Spread the word to support locally owned businesses that are well run!”

“We’ve been looking to outfit our living room with rugs and pillows and accessories. We have not been successful until we arrived at the Olney, MD HomeGoods.Not only did we get pillows and a rug, but a nice glider - swivel chair.More importantly, we want to complement Juan! who was the coordinator who put the rug in our car and then again put the chair in when we returned later in the same day.He is very efficient and careful and I think he deserves our praise and HomeGood’s praise!”

“One of our favorite boutiques in the area.Beautifully laid out, cozy little store, with really interesting products.Check their website, but we have to point out that they carry Sid Dickens memory tiles which are truly works of art. If looking for a gift, or seasonal home decor, this would be a great spot to visit.”

“Every time we go in, the folks there are friendly and smiling and ready to help you find what you're looking for. They have a very eclectic selection of antiques and oddities. We always enjoy just browsing and normally buy something every time we go. Admittedly, on some items, the prices seem a tad unreasonable, though those are set by the individual sellers, not by the owners of the Village, and sometimes the seller is willing to negotiate. If you're in the area, it is worth stopping by.”

She even picked up a heavy rug from my car. She was helpful and pleasant. It left a very good impression of this store on me.I was also helped by two other employees. Unfortunately, I did not ask their names. However, I remember their smile.I saw bad reviews overall for this company. But this particular store has very good reviews. I have first hand experience of it.It is the culture of friendliness and helpfulness that makes this store unique. HomeGoods should learn from this store and make it better nationwide.”

“Gina at the Columbia Mall in Maryland, went over and beyond Customer Service!I was looking for something in particular for my granddaughter for Christmas.She looked through the store, plus the storage area then called two places to finally find someone who did have the item. She waited plus helped the other colleague from another location to make the sale plus deliver to my address. “Full disclosure- we did go here for the little festival, and it was lovely! There was live music, chickens and alpacas to look at, and lots of beautiful pottery/artwork to buy. There was also a garden you could relax in that was gorgeous. Overall a very nice place to visit!”
