“Such a cool place.
My family and I (two adults, two kids) stayed in the Gathering Tree. It featured three beds, a master bedroom with a private deck, a large main deck, a spiral staircase, a dining room table, mini fridge, hot plate, two futons, kitchen utensils, a small TV with DVD player and coffee making equipment. There are lots of places to lounge both inside and outside the tree.
Outside the treehouse there is a fire pit which we used for s'mores and potatoes. There is a place to purchase firewood right on Ella's property.
The property has a .75 mile trail through the woods with numerous animal discoveries along it. My son and I enjoyed trying to find them all and predict what would come next. The property also had many fairy gardens around it. There is also a fort building area giving families many options to do outside.
Ella's is an awesome, upscale nature experience in the Deep Creek area. We will definitely return during our next visit to Deep Creek.”

“Great room and great experience. Staff was super friendly, not something im used to in new jersey lol. Room was clean and very spacious. A little pricey but convenient for location during my vacation. Definitely recommended.”
“We had a wonderful stay. Room was clean and well furnished. Bar and restaurant were great, and the staff there is amazing! My only suggestion for improvement is that our balcony looked rather neglected, it had a broken table and was rather “webby”, just a quick sweeping would have been appreciated.”

“Small town in all the good ways and none of the bad: welcoming, uncomplicated, and clean.
We were lucky to get a room at this nice motel only 15 minutes from Swallow Falls.
Everything was very clean. Linens were perfectly white. Beds were fresh and the sheets were soft. The pillows were flat for my liking but I know to bring my own. No dust, bugs, nor buildup. The fridge and microwave were spotless and smelled fresh.
Parking was plenty and close. We felt safe.
Critiques: AC was loud and there was no soap. If I knew there was not even a bar of soap, I would've brought some. If those are the biggest problems, there's actually no problem.

“My husband and I loved our long weekend stay here! Lots of activities to do in/out of the building. The room was very clean and updated. The only downfall we ran into was the Wi-Fi did not work, we went to management twice to fix it but was never addressed (first world problem I guess). Overall we really enjoyed our time and would love to come back! ?”
