Had a nice 2 night stay and restraunt connected to it has great food and you get a discount if you stayed at motel Central to several things in Oakland. Will stay here again”

“Small town in all the good ways and none of the bad: welcoming, uncomplicated, and clean.
We were lucky to get a room at this nice motel only 15 minutes from Swallow Falls.
Everything was very clean. Linens were perfectly white. Beds were fresh and the sheets were soft. The pillows were flat for my liking but I know to bring my own. No dust, bugs, nor buildup. The fridge and microwave were spotless and smelled fresh.
Parking was plenty and close. We felt safe.
Critiques: AC was loud and there was no soap. If I knew there was not even a bar of soap, I would've brought some. If those are the biggest problems, there's actually no problem.

“The room was decent and bed was comfortable- but certainly needs work in the bathroom (old paint that was cracking) - soap scum ring around the tub - very dated. For the money it cost I would expect more but we are paying for location on this one. Lobby was very nice - outdoor area very nice with lots of seats. Nobody in lobby for like 10 minutes when I got there - but was then told it was only 1 person working during the hour i got there - but then no staff after 9 pm (kind of strange ).”

“My husband and I loved our long weekend stay here! Lots of activities to do in/out of the building. The room was very clean and updated. The only downfall we ran into was the Wi-Fi did not work, we went to management twice to fix it but was never addressed (first world problem I guess). Overall we really enjoyed our time and would love to come back! ?”

“Very warm and cozy rooms. The decor was very rustic, perfect for the area. Room and bathroom was exceptionally clean! Amy was great to work with. Great prices and convenient to the lake, restaurants and downtown Oakland. We will absolutely book here again.”
