“I found this business online while on the hunt for a wooden wine holder shaped as a duck for my girlfriend's mother as she had added this to her Christmas wishlist. (Yes, I know it sounds silly). I'm skeptical when it comes to online shopping with the way the world is today but I hoped for the best & ended up purchasing the item. What led me to their site was the fact that the product was way cheaper than the competitors & their shipping timeframe was promising. About a week later, I received the item and it was perfect! “This store is GREAT for gifts, surprises, or just some nice finds to have around your home. It's also great for finding puzzles, games, or hobbies to do on your own. They also had quality cards for special occasions, and many unique items - and all for a good value - that really made me appreciate this store. It's a shop that's worth coming by over and over again, whenever I'm in the area to see what finds for sale the owner has managed to pull out of the top hat. And this isn't a second-hand shop.”
“As this Room and Board was in downtown DC, I did not exist the store to be so large. It occupies all 3 floors of the corner building it occupies and there are many pieces of furniture, rugs, accessories, lamps, etc. I really like the mid- century modern/ contemporary furniture and the textiles (pillows, rugs, linens) are terrific. If you're in the market for this style of furniture or home goods, this is a great stop to make.”

“Patrick's is a beautiful gem on the Wharf. I see in the reviews below other shoppers mention their price point and the owner being "rude", but I'll have to come to their defense. The owner is not rude, he's actually a lovely person with a dry sense of humor, which I realize some may take as rude, but he is not. Getting to know him has been a treat. The owners of this business have been in interiors and decor for a long while and have a gift. Their store is stocked with classic high-end dinnerware, tableware, art, candles, jewelry, picture frames, and all sorts of home goods and beautiful treasures. Mixed in with the higher-end offerings are plenty of affordable and beautiful items, too. I think a sign of a well-made shop is one that provides goods for all variations of shoppers, which is a challenge, but Patricks does this well. Do yourself a favor and visit them. I shop here often and cannot say enough kind things! I am excited to see what they bring out for Easter!”

“It was very out of stock. For clothing and footwear. There were few offers and few nice things to buy, plus everything was lying on the floor, different from other stores in the same category where everything is organized.
