People of all ages showed up and everyone had a wonderful time together and were so encouraging. I will definitely be back with my kids and to bring friends. “Our son attended the toddler program here for 6 months and we were so pleased with the care the school provided to him! He started attending here at 14 months old and we saw large improvements in his development, speech and social skills. The teachers, staff and managers are all very welcoming and caring. We dropped our son off everyday feeling good about his safety, the care, and the education he was being given. We were sad to have to leave the school, but are moving out of the area and thus had to part ways. Highly recommend this daycare!”

“My daughter has been at this daycare for a little over a year. As a a teacher and educator myself, I am very happy with the care and education my daughter is receiving at Little Miracles. We are so lucky to have found Ms. Carla. As a new mom and coming out of the pandemic, I was more than anxious to send my little one to a daycare. Little Miracles has been wonderful for my daughter and for our family.When we were first looking for daycare centers, we were struggling to find a center that we could afford and one that had room. Within an hour of contacting Ms. Carla that first summer, we were able to hear back from her and schedule an appointment to see the facility. At the time, we needed to tour while there were no kids there (of course due to the pandemic), but we were so thrilled by how our daughter took to Ms. Carla.When our daughter started, Ms. Carla assured us that our little one was happy and cared for by sending picture updates and all the fun little crafts home. She was active, learning, and playing. Our little pandemic baby was so fulfilled.The curriculum is rigorous and keeps our little one always coming home with new things she has learned. For a day care, the learning is age appropriate and challenging. Along with all the crafts, ABCs, counting, now days of the week and months have been taught to my daughter (she astounds me every week by the new things she is learning) - Ms. Carla is the one who potty trained my baby and helped us follow the routine at home. Without her, I have no idea how I would have done it. Seriously, she knows kids and she is the professional.Ms. Carla has been steadfast with her Covid protocols and this has helped her daycare stay safe and clean for all kids. The center is much smaller than other comparable centers which is best for our daughter. Ms. Carla and her team is attentive, caring, and treats all kids like her own.As a family, we deeply appreciate her service, her love towards our little butterfly, and her guidance and grace for us as new parents to support us in this journey together.”

“We can’t say enough good things about Primrose at the Parks. The staff and all the teachers are caring, kind, and knowledgeable. Our daughter has moved up through the school since she was a young infant. In all of her classrooms, the teachers have provided an exceptional level of care. They make sure our daughter is loved and actively learning while we are at work. The staff is accessible and communicative. They listen to parents’ needs, answer questions, and are quickly responsive to concerns. Our daughter is excited to go to school. She is thriving. Her development has accelerated in the almost year we’ve been at Primrose. Finding great childcare is one of the most difficult and important decisions parents have to make. We would choose Primrose at the Parks over and over again.Edit June 27 2023: We're still very happy with the care our child receives, but we do have one gripe to convey. Resolving payment conflicts is unnecessarily difficult. The school was closed for a week last winter (Dec 2022), and it was not initially announced as part of the school year. We had to arrange alternate care on relatively short notice, and we were not pro-rated for that week. Additionally, our child moved to a larger class (more students per teacher) recently, which decreases the monthly fee. However, this occurred mid-month, and it was again not automatically pro-rated.”

“My grand babies love it here. The teachers are polite. They always communicate and are very transparent. They have food safety practices, well-kept and maintained play space with sets of toys in each of the rooms and constant supervision.”

“We had a good experience with KinderCare. Our child attended for one year and we definitely saw major growth. I like that there is an app that allows you to see pictures and videos of your child during the day. The teachers and the Center Director truly care about the kids.”

“my family‘s been using Rising Generations since 2016 with my first daughter and we started when she was two and she stayed until graduation and it was an amazing experience. So much so, that we enrolled our second daughter who will be graduating in a couple of years. What I can say is Rising has always been consistent they follow all the school district mandates, in the most impressive was how they handled COVID-19. I was an emergency staff member who needed to stay on site throughout the entire pandemic and Rising was able to accommodate my families schedule without any service interruption . The level of precaution that they took and now still take to ensure all the students health and safety is bar none. All the staff are super friendly and the owners are some of the nicest people ever. They’re willing to work with you and make special accommodations whenever they can and I will always recommend this location. Thanks so much for everything Rising!”

The teachers and staff are friendly, responsive, and provide frequent updates about our child’s day through an app. The teachers are also great about keeping us up to date on developmental milestones and age-appropriate activities that the kids do during the day. “Educare is a magical and wonderful place! The staff and teachers are amazing. Our 2 children attend and we adore it.TEACHERS: are amazing! Everyone is so friendly, professional and helpful. Most of the teachers know our kids by name even if they are not in their class.FACILITIES: The facilities are beautiful with friendly inviting furniture and toys. The playgrounds and grounds are top notch.CLASSES: Our 2 year old and 4 year old adore their friends and teachers. In our 2 year old class they send detailed logs of eating, diapers and sleep. They check in every day to see our our daughter did overnight and they let us know if anything is ever off. They only allow family’s on campus.PROGRAMS: they have monthly virtual wellness and support groups. Each family has a Family Engagement Specialist who checks in frequently to make sure you have everything you need. Ours Ms. Black is outstanding!INCLUSION: they are committed to inclusion and our childrens special needs are respected and uplifted. They have all Early Intervention services right on campus and Ms. Nora is great at communicating.We highly recommend Educare for all DC residents. As a Head Start site, all DC residents are eligible and they hold most spots for folks based on income. So even if you don’t think you’ll get a spot, just apply! We are so glad that we did!!!”

They are very caring and loving here and take their time to build good rapport with not only the children but the parents as well. I have a 3 year old and 1 year old that understand the language and can speak it as well. Bring y’all kids to Colorado Ave NW!!!! This is where learning is fundamentally fun!”
