“I can’t recommend Mora Tires enough. I needed new tires badly and kept putting it off because the process became overwhelming.
I called Mora Tires on a whim and they made everything so easy. From the first call to him going out of his way to wash his hands before handing me my key when they were finished, the customer service was wonderful. I called at 11 a.m. and had new tires on my car by 2:30; zero hassle.
I left thinking about how refreshing it was to have such a great experience getting my car serviced. Also, the price was great (win-win).
The location’s perfect, too. There are so many great food options down Eastern Ave., or you can grab a coffee or post up to work at OvenBird a few blocks away.

“We LOVE J&H! Honestly, I wish we had found them sooner…
After our former “weekend-warrior” chain service center closed, we asked a transmission shop (who was currently servicing one of our vehicles) about an honest, reasonable, and competent mechanic -- they referred us to J&H. From the first visit, I was thoroughly impressed. From the owner to the mechanics to the office staff, everyone is patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and honest (which is a VERY rare trait in society these days).
Unless they’re crazy swamped, they provide a digital/electronic car condition report at each service inclusive of pictures. Yes, you heard that right – so not only do they tell you what needs done, but this shows you... giving you an added level of assurance. They proactively monitor various aspects of your vehicle as well as tending to the items you’ve requested them repair/replace. Additionally, when they’ve made service recommendations, they’ve been honest about whether it’s something that needs done now, sooner than later, or if it’s something that can safely wait to be addressed at another time if you’re like us and trying to budget for car maintenance. If you’re uncertain how something impacts your vehicle, they’ll patiently explain what you need done and why it’s important.
We’ve been customers of J&H for several years now, trusting them with multiple cars of ours that we rely on heavily to commute to work, chauffeur our kids and their friends to/from school and events, and to trek long distances for vacation/family. I value their work and their perspective to the extent that I take any new vehicle in our household to them to inspect and I ensure before any long road trips that we get our vehicle into them for service to ensure a smooth, uneventful trek.

“I had my car at a shop down the street where they told me I needed to replace both of my rear wheel bearings and quoteed me over $2000 for the job on my Ford Escape. I called Independent just to get a quote, and not only did they quote me around $500 less at the high end, but once I brought the car in they found I only needed ONE bearing replaced. They let me know a few other things to take care of with up front pricing, and with no pressure whatsoever.
Calling Independent ensured I kept $1000+ in my pocket. Cheers to their honest business policies.”

“Such a pleasant experience here! They were able to explain to me what needed to be done, get the parts quickly and have my vehicle ready ahead of the time estimated. They even threw in some other things I needed done for my car. I can’t recommend them enough!
Update: Went back again for a second visit even though I had moved out of town. Dealership was going to take several days to repair and I just cannot be without my car. Eastwood fixed my car in 3 hours instead of days and I paid half what the dealership had quoted me. I would give 3000 stars if I could.”

“Great service! I was able to make a same day appointment. After looking at several places that offer transmission services, Midas was the only place I found that offered transmission fluid flush instead of just fluid change.
Apr 2025 update: just realized when I got my tires rotated at my most recent visit they didn't reset the TPMS sensors so my tires don't match the pressure displayed on my dashboard. Left and right front are actually the rear :(”

“I took my car here last week with some fuel injector issues. They called me with numerous updates. They provided me with pictures and detailed descriptions of the issue. They even do thorough check on your car of what is good on your car what is moderate, and what needs service for your own convenience, self knowledge, and safety. They were so friendly and respectful every step of the way. Instead of pushing me to the most expensive solution they provided alternatives. They where so understanding and the repairs did not break the bank! I dropped mine off at night with their easy to full out form and key drop box. The next morning I was greeted and after our choice of direction my car was ready within a few hours! If you have car trouble then trust them to fix it. To them it isn't just a job or a sale. “Brought my Jeep Wrangler Willys in to see about swapping to the Mojave hood. Jeff Shaw’s Collision Craft was able to get all the parts, and do a complete swap and paint match. Quality is second to none.
I selected this shop based off of their online reviews and later learned that Jeff Shaw’s Collision Craft is also considered to be the best Tesla body shop in the area (I git to see my first Cyber-Truck up close when i dropped my jeep off).
The facility is clean and very well maintained. Front office personnel are nice and handled all paperwork quickly and had me on my way in minutes.
The technician who worked on my Jeep has been with Jeff Shaw for more than 25 years, to me, that says a lot - a company that values its customers (and their reputation) enough to retain top notch technicians instead of relying on a revolving door of technicians.”

The first reason was because when I called Kenny got me in on the same day.
But Sam, really made my day by getting the car checked from bumper to bumper.
See I had to get my Mercedes Benz a new battery and get the computer reset.
Nealey's was able to do it cheaper than a Mercedes Benz dealership would have charged me.
Plus Sam kept in contact with me all day today.
See they had to check my alternator to see if that was the problem.
I'm sure another shop would have charged me for an alternator.
But NOT SAM.
HE WAS HONEST ABOUT THE ALTERNATOR BEING IN GOOD SHAPE.
SO IT TOOK LESS THAN 24 HRS TO GET MY CAR BACK, WHICH REALLY MADE ME HAPPY!!!
IT TOOK LONGER THAN EXPECTED BECAUSE I DIDN'T GET MY CAR TOWED UP THERE UNTIL AFTER 3PM.
AND THEY CLOSE AT 5:30.

“Quick service. Recently went for tune up my car was pulled to the side of the building not the back. Anyway, the guy who did my tune up wasn't in uniform, and wore a long gold chain around his neck. I saw him jamming a rod behind my bumper, and asked what was up, he said he accidentally got his chain stuck in between the bumper and lost it, was trying to retrieve it? Weird. Why was he wearing it to work on my car at all? Could've scratched it all up. So this time when I came for service, I asked if its normal to take cars around there to do tune ups. To which they replied yes, its for overflow to keep vehicles moving thru the garage when it gets busy. However, it was not busy, no other vehicles when my car was there? I am confused about that.”
