I've only seen one negative interraction, but that was between co-workers that was handled swiftly and professionally by the manager.The only real downside I have to the store is the layout. “Had everything I needed. Very nice personnel. Very nice pharmacy too.I participate in their gas rewards program. May have to rethink this as their gas has become the most expensive in the area. The rewards points have to be used just to get their gas down to the street cost. Just doesn't make sense to do that.6-1-23: Due to changes on their gas program where the survey points have been halved, I have stopped using the program. The stores are still well run and stocked as good as any in the area. Will continue to shop here.”

“All I can say is, WOW, what a hidden gem. A pharmacy that serves as a liquor store, gift shop, and bar? It's an interesting combination that makes it a fun place to visit. The liquor selection is actually pretty decent and I was able to find a few hidden gems at a very good price here, as were many of my friends. I also checked out The Fountain, which is small bar with a classic 1980s (and older) vibe. There were some rare, allocated whiskies available for tastings at a reasonable price, around $10 for an ounce. I'm sure their menu changes occasionally but it's a solid bar to visit to try something nice. My group also ordered the turkey sandwich that came with chips. It was a reasonably good sandwich, though nothing outstanding. They seemed to have some interesting pies, but I didn't have time to try those. Here, it's definitely about the whiskies and vibe. Can't wait to come back again.”
“My husband and I both work in pharmacy, but I have been taking the same medication for 8+ years and have problems most times I have to fill it. Inventory issues and poor communication at the several pharmacies I've used. Not an issue here. Husband took my prescription here on a whim, hoping to not have to drive to my usual pharmacy and it was the best prescription filling experience we've had in years. Fast, friendly, and no problems. Even if there were issues we strongly feel the pharmacy team would have taken the necessary steps to resolve them. Thank you, we will be back!”

“My daughter has been using this Pharmacy for years. I had always used CVS until the service became unbearable. After another bad experience I finally gave Parkville Pharmacy a try. They contacted my doctor. Got the prescriptions switched over and had my medication by the following morning. One of these meds I had been informed by CVS that they did not carry. I can only say this small business was professional, very friendly, and timely. The prices were also less expensive. Nice to promote a local business that cares.”

“When I first met the people that run this pharmacy when they were over there off of Wise avenue I knew from the first day I never wanted to go anywhere else! And I don't think I ever will go anywhere else. They're always so helpful and with any questions or concerns and they always call me when my refills are ready without my asking at all. When I don't have a refill left they will generously fax my Dr. and they always seem to know that I need those specific medications for my daily med intake. Usually through my experience of being on medication my whole life and went through several pharmacies I will say definitely this is the best pharmacy and the best pharmacy staff they're like family in some sort of way because they know the meds ? we need when we forget? that's awesome!!! They call me to make sure I pick them up in a timely manner they're awesome five stars wish I could give more and they really have upbeat personality and then make you laugh if you walked inside you will leave happy thank you MedStar you make my life a lot easier”

“This review is specifically about the pharmacy. My experience was friendly, quick, and efficient. My credit card didn't work at first, and the pharmacy tech didn't make me feel sketchy or anything, but just asked me to try again. I was in and out in just a few minutes! I wasn't certain about the safety of this location but it is right near the Johns Hopkins Hospital campus.”
“Big store with loads of choices, great prices, and a nice bakery with BIG tasty donuts! Better than DD if you ask me (& cheaper) but that's my opinion. They also have a pharmacy and their restrooms have always been clean anytime I've ever had to use them. That matters when you have kids tagging along or a day out running errands, eventually you are going to need a restroom for whatever reason and personally I can't use a bathroom that isn't clean! It speaks volumes about management and their priorities as well. The store is always clean, everything is always in its place. Sometimes looks can be deceiving but in this case I think they are just on top of things and they care about their employees AND their customers... I don't get to shop there too often anymore bc they aren't the closest grocery store to where I reside but I still shop there here and there when I can get out that way.”

“Main Pharmacy in Sparrows Point! It's like a smaller Drug City! People seem nice there. Only problem is they don't except most extra discount prescription discount cards! I got my prescriptions filled there and have Cigna insurance! I have type 2 diabetes and still had to pay for new blood sugar machine and diabetes stuff that's supposed to be free to low budget people. I was not very happy paying $90 for BS machine, the strips, needles and metformin, Omeprazole, Lisinopril! I'll probably go elsewhere from here on out. My family has too many medications to afford the cost u have to pay cause they won't accept the other prescription discount cards. Other then that they sell awesome Yankee candles and many other health products and stuff u can use from a pharmacy.”
