Oil Change near Finksburg, MD

“I have recently taken my 1986 F150 to AutoCorrect for an AOD transmission shifting issue has had another shop do some work and when I got it back, it was shifting rough. Turn out the other shop had reinstalled the torque cable incorrectly.
The folks at AutoCorrect diagnosed the issue, reinstalled the cable and adjusted fluid level and shifting points.
Then about a month later I had a minor coolant leak that hey corrected.

The reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of hidden fees, and they also did not match the CarMax trade-in price, even though it was promised to me before I arrived at the dealership. I recently purchased a Honda Pilot from this dealership. As I mentioned, the people were nice—Roman, the salesman, and Jackson from accounting were amazing. There was also a customer service manager who was kind enough to share his contact information with me in case I had any questions or issues with the car.

If you see attractive car prices, don’t get tricked like I did. There is a certification fee of $1,800, and they do not waive it. When I told them I didn’t need any certification or additional warranty, they said the work had already been done on the car, so they could not remove or reduce the fee.

Additionally, before coming to this dealership, I told them I had an approved quote from CarMax and asked if they would match it. They said yes. However, when I arrived, they offered $1,000 less, saying that CarMax does not account for sales tax.

Overall, just be mindful of these items before coming to this dealership.”

This man is professional yet also personable, patient and kind. He goes out of his way to accommodate you, and makes difficult car situations so much less stressful. I called around 9am, asking if he could squeeze in a state inspection for a car we were coming into town to test-drive. We were coming from Frederick and wanted to have the car inspected and looked over before purchasing. Not only did he squeeze us in, he was able to do so earlier than anticipated. Serge was friendly and agreed to look over the car in general and let us know if he would recommend for purchase, apart from the inspection. He went above and beyond by telling us several things that we would never have known if we had not brought it to him, both good and bad. He did not charge us extra for this personal assessment and even advised us how much to offer on the car we wanted to purchase. Furthermore, this man is PATIENT. I called him back no fewer than 5 times within the hour to ask questions re: tag and title, state inspection report and other things and he remained kind and helpful. Thank you, Serge, for treating us like family and helping us to make a big decision. We are so thankful to have found your shop!”

“This is the best shop in town. I’ve been a regular customer here for years and have had nothing but good experiences. Recently I made the mistake of taking my car to another place for an oil change because I had a coupon, and the other place told me my car needed $2100 worth of work. I didn’t quite trust that, so I took my car to Caples for a second opinion. Caples said I didn’t need any of the work, saving me $2100! Another time I tried to put air in my tires, but somehow I wound up letting a lot of air out instead, activating the low tire warning. I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. I pulled into Caples at five minutes to close on a Friday and asked if they could help me. They put air in my tires, replaced one of valve stem caps that was messed up, didn’t make me feel like an idiot (even though I deserved it), and didn’t even ask for any money! If you want an honest shop that knows how to treat its customers, go to Caples.”

“My experience here was absolutely astounding. I was involved in a rear end hit and run and I wanted to have my vehicle checked for the safety of my 18 month old daughter. I had called around to a few different places and wasn’t able to get in until next week.I called and spoke with Mike who told me to come in as soon as I could. Upon arrival I was pleasantly greeted and my vehicle was taken back immediately. The technician Logan did a full inspection of my vehicle, he did advise me that I will be needing brakes in the near future. Being a single mom it’s hard to find a place that will not nickel and dime you for every little thing. Mike was able to get me a quote for brakes that I will be able to afford within the time frame I need them done by. I have found my forever shop. Thank you gentleman.”

“I like the convenience and availability of the service. I don't like the fact that you have to drive over a hole in the ground for an oil change and wait for the associate to tell you when to stop. It would good to also provide clearly marked spots on the walls and floors or even use an electronic sign like in a car wash, i.e., red for stop, yellow caution and green go. The last time I was there I was yelled at and told that I nearly drove into the hole. In addition, the garage was very noisy since cars were serviced in each bay. The technicians were yelling back and forth. My tech waited for some time for a part since only certain associates could hand out parts. I tried to get my tires rotated and my tech asked someone and they quickly said "no". It would be an enhancement to display an electronic menu before you enter the garage of the available services. I didn't like so many people running around the car. I felt like I should not be in the garage. My tech was very knowledgeable but was extremely tired. It seemed the workers may be over-worked.”

“The Staff was and is excellent! I recently just got my first car. Its a used car but new to me! I had a bad with Mr.Tire down the street and my Mother suggested that I use Jiffy Lube because she has always had an excellent job done to here with all the cars that she had! I came in and all three employees treated me and my Mother with respect. They broke everything down to me from suggestions for the type of oil I should use down to explaining everything I needed to come back to fix soon and I could come back and get everything done over the next few weeks. Only thing I forgot to ask was for them to rotate my tires but I will get that done next Month when I go in to get the last 3 or so things done. “I had a really great experience with this Jiffy Lube today. They listened to what I needed, took their time to do the job well. I got an oil change and they also cleaned the windows and vacuumed the floors. They did a great job vacuuming because I know my truck was a disaster. They even moved things behind the seats to vacuum. My truck ride felt great when I left after the oil change and new air filter. I swear by the wiper blades they put on my truck and won't get them any place else. Very happy, great job, very nice staff!”
