“Dr. McCourt gave wonderful care to our 17-year-old beagle mix puppy, Chica. At the end, Dr. Silcox provided guidance, empathy, and compassion—not only to Chica, but also to our family at a very difficult moment. The kindness from the entire staff meant so much; several of them were in tears that night, which truly showed how much they care about the animals and families they serve. The condolence card we received the following week was a thoughtful gesture that truly meant a lot to us.
If you’re looking for a veterinary practice that truly cares about both the animals and their families, Hickory Veterinary Hospital is the place to go. I cannot recommend it more.”

“Dr. Julie is a fantastic vet, who cares about her patients and their owners. When Buddy (my pet rat) passed, she took the time to write a card of condolence with a personal message. I'll never forget that. She understands and cares about the pet-owner relationship.”
