“I am a loyal customer to this Aldi location, and for good reason! Parking is always a breeze, which is a major plus. The selection of products is consistently on par with or even better than other Aldi locations I have visited. But what truly sets this store apart is the friendly staff. They're always welcoming and helpful, making my shopping experience a pleasure.
Another aspect that impresses me is the store's cleanliness. Unlike some other Aldi locations I have gone to and shopped at, this one is always tidy and well-maintained, with no cluttered aisles or overflowing boxes. It's clear the staff takes pride in their work.
Given these strengths, I'm happy to give this Aldi location a well-deserved 5-star rating. “I need to give a huge thank you to Deborah who was in self checkout today at the St. Patrick’s drive Food Lion. My seven year old son picked out flowers for me for Mother’s Day. He didn’t want me to know and was trying to keep me from seeing them. He went first at checkout and was trying so hard to keep it a surprise and I was continuing to pretend I had no idea what he had. Deborah recognized all of this happening and was the SWEETEST!!! She helped him get them bagged up and hidden he was so proud. We came home and he was able to get them all set up. “This store is small but packed. They have been in business for many years. I go to get spices and lentils. They also carry a great brand of Chai tea powder, which makes an amazing spicy cuppa. The owner is gracious in explaining what you may not understand about Indian food. They also have a good selection of snacks.”

I use to always get Ethiopian injera until I discovered Alem gebeya injera. It’s always an easy 1-stop shop for all habesha needs, the best in the area!”

TL:DR - Hiring process is crap and annoying to deal with, Hispanic section is good, and their donuts are AMAZING.
Come here AT LEAST for the donuts, fr worth it.
8 of my friends (9 including me) never got any kind of response when we applied to work here, plus the managers always seemed to mysteriously unavailable to be spoken to.
I've literally called the store, got told to call back the next morning, called the next morning, "Manager on vacation" :/
when will they be back? " X date." Thanks so much.
Called back on X date, "She'll be here tomorrow morning" thanks.
Calls back tomorrow morning, "Hi, not here. Call again tomorrow morning."
At which point I came INTO THE STORE to speak with this elusive hiring manager, just to be told that they were on vacation and won't be back for a while.

So suffice to say, hiring process seems messy, outdated, unreliable, and flat out non-functional at times.
The website needs to be updated, the employees need proper customer service training because regardless of what I'm calling about, and who's answering, it's always in a tone that sounds like I might aswell be interrupting a neurosurgeon mid incision.
The only redeeming quality of this store is what it sells, and I'm not talking standard groceries.
Not only does Shoppers have a decent spread of hispanic foods, ingredients, drinks & snacks, but it's also got some of, if not THE BEST donuts you could buy from a store.
The donut chains like Dunkin or Krispy Kreme got nothing on SFW donuts, they got Croissant donuts (Cronuts), marble iced, Holland Creme (my favorite), jam filled, lemon pudding filled, boston creme, and of course all your standard donut types like powdered, brown sugar, plain and glazed, not to even mention some specialty ones they have on occasion like the apple pie filled brown sugar, or marbled icing cronuts.
Plus they're reasonably priced, which automatically raises the rating for me.

“I went to this Aldi on Saturday morning (around 9:45 am) and it was a peaceful shopping experience. There were plenty of good looking produce, full items on the shelf and plenty of Aldi finds to select from (which I spent quite a bit from the deals). The cashier was friendly and moved swiftly. The only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the staffer operating the big cleaning machine while shopping. It was in the way a few times and I was worried about slipping since it was wet. Other than that, I will visit again early in the morning.”
