“First I would like to thank the staff, They are amazing and the owner is such a kind man. I had a moment of what in the world was I thinking when I drove of with the pump still in my gas tank. Obviously I stopped and panicked because gas was spraying on the ground. I went in and told the young man what had happened and he was so absolutely so kind and patient. We walked out and looked and we went back in after he stopped the gas from spraying. The owner then walked out with me. He was telling me about how much it costs to be fixed and I said I will pay whatever I am responsible for and he said let’s see if I can fix it first. He easily fixed it and thanked me for not just driving off. He even put the seal for my gas tank back on. I truly believe in karma and you get back the vibes you put out in the world.
The store is very clean as well as the restroom.”

“A fine place to get gas--or diesel--while on your trip through the area. A mechanic is available to perform work on your vehicle, or perform a State inspection. There are also plenty of tobacco and caffeine products. Lotto. Bones pills. Motor oil and fluids. No postcards available”

“I'm so thankful I came across four corner auto care to fix my car. Brian (Tenzin) promptly responded to my request to fix my car which I hit against cement in a parking garage (after dodging an old lady walking down a dark ramp...everyone was okay). Brian estimated that he could have my car fixed within a few days. The whole job took one week because he found other significant damage in the interior of my car which I didn't know about. Overall he communicated well, asked if I wanted to fix everything and had such a positive attitude. Also they do excellent work for a reasonable price. I almost wanted to keep this gem to myself but the world (or Silver Spring) needs to know where to go for superior auto care whether mechanical or auto body. They also cleaned the interior of my car. I don't want to come back for anything other than oil changes but if I need a job done in the future, I know where to go. I think the pictures speak for themselves to demonstrate high quality service.”

“Prompt service and great prices. I had a car battery replaced last month, and an oil change more recently. The latter was half the price charged by a service center in Aspen Hill. They did both on the spot with no advance appointment.”

“Had a very last second tire emergency and Noah fit me in immediately despite being very busy. Found the issue and fixed everything for a VERY good price. Super honest and very efficient. Will be using this place for everything moving forward”

“On Sunday 10/13 on the way home to DC from a road trip, my car started flashing lights, specifically the AT Oil Temp light which meant I needed to pull off and stop driving. This shop was the closest to where we were, and although it was not open, they let me leave my car on their lot and fill out a form for their mechanic.

While the head mechanic was not in until Tuesday (10/16), he called my partner very quickly, diagnosed the issue, and said he could have it done by that evening. He personally went to the Subaru dealership to get the part, and like he said, the car was done that night. My partner handled the communications, so I am not sure who assisted, but based on the reviews, I am assuming it was Tek. He replaced my transmission valve body ($1,180), valve body gasket ($15), and valve body wiring ($76). All in all, the total labor cost was $360, bringing my total with tax to $1,732.

The repair was done fast, and based on my research, at a very fair price. My car is now running smoothly, and I don't foresee there being any further issues. If I am to ever have an issue with my car again. I will absolutely bring it back to this shop.

Thank you!”

“Always go here when prices get a bit too high elsewhere. The lines can be horrible. But most everyone is down with the system, so they know how to maneuver the area easily.”

“Cheap reliable gas. The lines are long but there's four lines and 12 pumps. As long as people realize there's others waiting the lines move quickly. I took off a star because I think the layout was poorly designed over all.”

“Dobbin Center in Columbia, MD., is a busy shopping center that is usually always crowded. The parking lot stays full, and there are special sales and
bargains frequently. Panera Bread, Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Starbucks are a few popular eating places there. Walmart and Ross are favorites in terms of bargains.”

“Took good care of my car for a good price. Also found out they offer tag and title services so that helped me a lot from sitting in the MVA lines for a minimum of 2-3 hours.”

“Visited this shop today for what I thought was a slow leak in one tire. They fit me in day of and contacted me an hour later to tell me that my problem was a bad valve/sensor on the tire and this wasn’t something they could fix. They referred me to a tire shop or the dealer. They didn’t charge me for the time they took to diagnose the problem. I’ll be back due to their honesty, efficiency, and choice not to charge me for their diagnosis. That diagnosis saved me a lot of time when I took the car to a tire place later in the day.”

“They diagnosed the problem, couldn't fix it that day, but did not charge me for the diagnosis (even after volunteering to pay). The advisor was patient explaining the situation, and was honest about worst-case scenarios. I left with the feeling that they were straight with their customers, which, of course, I appreciate.”

“I needed my car to be looked at for my breaks, so I emailed them Friday night and Brian replied right away to my email. I went Saturday morning and my brake pads, rotors, oil, and tires needed to be replaced. Brian and Kevin explained everything in detail. They were honest and very helpful. I appreciate all the help they provided to me on the same day. I'm going back to them so they can work on my car for other things. I highly recommend this shop. Brian thank you for the service you provided me.”

“Let’s get to the elephant in the room first— for most, the location/space sucks and at peak times, the traffic gets crazy, but there’s nothing you can do about it. Columbia is expanding. However, the location works for me because it’s easier to run errands and get gas due to the surrounding establishments.

That said, the staff has always been very friendly to me. They’re great about correcting those who like to go against the traffic rules there. Gas is always priced as good as it gets in Columbia (sometimes beats Baltimore too!).

The air machine is great when it works. Tip: get gas on [your] right of the attendant station to make it easier to access the air pump after you have gotten gas.

More tips:
-Get gas when it is cooler (early morning is best, but later in the evening works too) as cooler gas is more dense, whereas the heat can expand the gas making your total fill up cost more than what it may otherwise. This is also why you shouldn’t overfill your tank so as to allow space for expansion when it heats up during the day and any run over may not even be used by your engine.

-Try not to get gas when the truck is making a delivery as this has the potential to have too much unsettled gas, causing you to pay (just a little) more than usual.

-Pump on the lowest setting to avoid getting too much air mixed in and paying (slightly) more.”
