“I have been using this service center for many years. The reason I always go back here again and again is that any car work from these people (Marcel and his team) are very genuine and never overcharge like some others. Their costs are always much less than others in Columbia. All the work done is perfect.”
“Returning Customer... It's time to give these guys a well-deserved review. I can't tell you how pleased I am with this mechanic shop! I did a urgent stop for alignment issue a few months ago, and that followed with AK fixing my daughter's car in one day, now I am doing my regular oil change! Also, I stopped by this morning to check on my brake... must be my imagination of loud tank/thump noise but they looked and reported my brake was perfect!! I trust these guys, because the owner/mechanic comes and shows you the problem, rather than telling or sending you an invoice. He backs up recommended work with pictures too! The best thing I can say it that they give you control over your decisions rather than making you feel you are failing to fix a problem. Thank you guys for tapping up my air today! I appreciate the extra care.”
“I’ve been talking my car there for about 15 years or more. Always great work and priced fair. No upsell pressure at all. See Matt, he knows his way around vehicles for sure. I’ve even seen him smile a few times. Forget going to the dealer and getting ripped off.”
“Great Excellent service from start to finish! The staff was friendly, honest, and very knowledgeable. They explained everything clearly before starting the work, and my vehicle was repaired quickly at a fair price. It’s hard to find an auto shop you can trust, but this team exceeded my expectations. My car is running great, and I’ll definitely be coming back for future maintenance and repairs. Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for reliable and professional automotive service!”
“Great experience at the auto shop. Seth and the team were very friendly, upfront, and knowledgeable. They helped explain what the problem was and got the job done efficiently. They did not try to overcharge or surprise me with anything unexpected regarding the bill. The service rendered was great.”
“Laid back yet professional. Al and Ron know their stuff. Trust them to check your vehicle for safety and efficiency like my wife, daughter and I have been for some 10 years. Don't go near a dealer. A&R don't "upsell".”
“I highly recommend Hickory Smoke Automotive for their professionalism, efficiency, and competitive pricing. They provided excellent service, and I will certainly return for any future repairs.”
“Honest, straightforward, and trustworthy — exactly what you want in a mechanic. He explains clearly what’s going on with your car, itemizes what needs attention, gives you options, and never makes you feel pressured or taken advantage of. I dropped my car off at 8:00 and had it back by the end of the day, running beautifully. He even provided pictures of work that may need to be done later. He’s been in business a long time, and it’s easy to see why people keep coming back. I’m truly grateful to have found a mechanic I can trust.”
“They're very good at repairing my car. In particular, Noor, the mechanic, is professional, friendly, and explains things so even I (admittedly a car idiot) can understand. From the few times I've used them so far, it appears that if you drop your car off to have it worked on, it takes longer to finish. I can't (yet) say for certain, but it may be that after you drop your car off, if someone else brings their car in and is willing to wait, they may get theirs back faster.”

“The BJs gas price with membership is the main draw, of course, just like the Costco gas stations. Gas is significantly cheaper than other stations in the area, even though the hours are not as extended (I believe they mirror the hours of the BJs store which is a couple of minutes drive from here. There is usually a line, which is a pain, but one useful piece of inside information is that the gas pipes are long enough to extend to the other side of your vehicle, so you DON'T have to wait for a pump on the same side as your gas door.”

“This shell location is my favorite! The store employees are always helpful and patient! They always are fully stocked with everything I need I would give the shell on Waterloo a 100 stars if possible”
“Pro: big parking lot, clean environment, self serve lottery machine, lot of self check out machine, Con: always long line at customer service This store had a refresh on the inside a few years ago and still look new upon entering. Parking lot is big with plenty of space. The giant is next to smaller store such as subway and more. There is a lottery machine that is self use. The customer service area is always has long line due to only 1 person working back there. If this giant doesn't work out for you there is another giant by cherry hill shopping area that just open up recently.”
“Dobbin Center in Columbia, MD., is a busy shopping center that is usually always crowded. The parking lot stays full, and there are special sales and
bargains frequently. Panera Bread, Wendy’s, McDonald’s, Starbucks are a few popular eating places there. Walmart and Ross are favorites in terms of bargains.”

“New management with low gas price, well stocked inventory for chips, drinks, vapes, tobacco, and great car wash ! Very happy with the changes !! My favorite one stop gas station!!”
“They normally don't have too long of a wait. Somedays, they have pumps that are closed, but they normally run smoothly. I did have my bank tell me they put a hold of $100 on debit cards if you fill up with one.”
“Absolutely the best mechanic around. Khalani is so fair and always has your car done when promised. We have moved from the area. We truly miss our neighborhood mechanic.
I have to say I will not go to his son, for repairs.
If you truly need a really good mechanic, go to khalani.”

“I love this RoFo. I’m literally there at least once per day to grab coffee, snacks, etc. The staff are great, especially the manager, Nikki. She’s lovely to all of the customers, especially the regulars (of which there are many).”
“Never been to a Highs before was a neat mix of a classic diner and an convince gas station. Chicken was good, wedges were good, my breakfast bowl was loaded up good, ice cream selection reminded me of a classic dinner corner store. Staff was very nice at this location. It was just by chance that we stopped by, but this was a pretty cool detour we took and this was a nice suprise.”
“This review is for the new ownership. Manager Tom was very friendly and professional. He took a quick look as I requested it to him ( my car didn't start earlier that day). I went back next morning , he already got the part and replaced it in an hour as he promised me.Staffs were also very friendly, much cleaner and nicer than before. And price I paid for replacement of starter was much better than any others and previous owner.I will definitely will go back and will recommend to all my friends!”

“This Exxon is so aesthetically pleasing to the area it fits Columbus Maryland like it was built specifically for the area. I never seen one like it. Architecturally Impressive 🩵🏆 Sorry I know you guys care more about gas prices 🥴”

“It's a gas station, need I say more? Ok, I will...I stopped here on 10 Feb 2024, so I could fill up my rental car prior to dropping it off at BWI airport. Even though the gas prices were fairly high, I was still shocked, yet ecstatic that the gas prices were lower than my home city of Las Vegas (Nevada). Unfortunately, I was kind of in a rush so I didn't have time to walk in and experience the convenience store on site, but considering it's a gas station, I don't think there would be anything special about it.The gas pumps worked fine; I didn't get my personal info stolen from those idiot thieves; and the gas pump actually printed my receipt upon request, so no major issues on my end. It is very rare that I would rate a gas station a 5-star experience because I don't believe I could ever "love" a gas station, but, you never know. Regardless, since I had no issues at this gas station, I'm still recommending this place to everyone.”
“These days, it’s hard to find kind people especially in services industry. This morning, Fletcher took care of my almost 90 year Dad with just a phone call for help. They stayed on the phone with me and made sure my Dad was ok and took him home in this humid weather. I appreciate their unbiased service and heartwarming gesture to help a stranger. Thank you, Will, Rick, and many others at Fletcher.”

“Something was wrong with the fender of my car, I searched help from the Sunoco repair shop, they said they don't repair fenders, then recommended Dobbin Auto Body, and kindly added address and phone number, also explained why, which helped me a lot. Thank you!”
