“I love this store and shop there regularly. It is my go-to spot for buying gifts, there are so many fun things to choose from, including books and clothes, and I would so much rather support this independent business and its *amazing* staff than any chain or billionaire-run internet retailer. It's also a great spot to try out new games, as many are opened up with rules on display throughout the store and you can play many of them in their huge gathering space, which is separate from the main store. I am so lucky to have this awesome store in my neighborhood!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Julia and Brooke

I’ve been in and out of Michaels at least six times over the past few days handling purchases, exchanges, and returns, and my experiences varied every single time. But two associates absolutely stood out: Brooke and Julia.

Brooke was AMAZING during my first return. She was completely swamped, clearly needed support, and even asked her manager for assistance that never came. Despite that, she handled everything with patience, professionalism, and grace. She truly held it down seamlessly.

Julia is a whole superstar. Over three different visits, I watched her juggle balloon services, process returns, hop on the mic for pickup orders, and help customers at self checkout, all at the same time. For two days in a row she was essentially running the front of the store by herself during peak holiday season. Shame on the managers for leaving her in that position, but major kudos to Julia for her composure, her work ethic, and her dedication to customers.

These two women are the backbone of that store. I hope Michaels recognizes their value because customers definitely do.”
