“I have placed multiple online orders with Third Eye over the last year, and my experiences with them are consistently excellent. These have mostly been pre-orders of items coming out over the course of several weeks. To reduce shipping costs for the store and myself, they hold all my items until the one with the latest release date hits shelves. My complete orders ship within a week of that date and typically (if not always) arrive in less than 7 days. This was true when I lived in western Iowa and remains so now that I am in central Indiana.

Their staff were incredibly accommodating when I wanted to adjust an order in the spring, and they proactively reached out to me when the publisher made a short-notice change to an issue I'd requested. Although I've never stepped foot in Annapolis, I expect I'll keep buying from Third Eye in the future.”

“I love this store and shop there regularly. It is my go-to spot for buying gifts, there are so many fun things to choose from, including books and clothes, and I would so much rather support this independent business and its *amazing* staff than any chain or billionaire-run internet retailer. It's also a great spot to try out new games, as many are opened up with rules on display throughout the store and you can play many of them in their huge gathering space, which is separate from the main store. I am so lucky to have this awesome store in my neighborhood!”

“This comic book store was a great find. It's small but they pack quite a lot in there, I moved to the Arbutus area and was please to see a comic shop so close. The guys that run the shop were really helpful and have great suggestions. They weren't pushy at all. They may not have as big a selection as some larger comic shops might, but they are quick to help you order anything you are interested in. They were also really nice to my 2 young toddlers. Not all places are toddler friendly, but they were great with them. They gave my boys a free ball and some candy to keep them occupied while I looked around. I would have given this store 5 stars but their hours are kind of screwy. It would be nice if they had more set hours everyday, but I don't mind that much. The friendly atmosphere is what's most important! And they were both friendly and helpful.”

“I was in need of a picture album, which is odd since I haven't bought one since high school. But as I get older, and I receive more and more pictures, I'm running out of room for picture frames. Hence the need to get a photo album. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, I just needed your basic photo album that would allow me to neatly store my excess photos. I honestly walked right past this section at first. Silly me thought it was back near the frames. But, no, it is near the scrapbooking materials, and what a small section this is. They had different sizes of photo albums from a little oversized to ones that held one picture to page/pocket. I kind of went middle of the road here and grabbed one that looks just like a binder. Made my way to the front to pay and this location has the self checkouts that look more like information kiosks than registers. After scanning my items and skipping the bag, I had my recent in hand, along with a coupon for a future visit, and I was out the door.”

“I’m so thankful my neighbor sent me to Annapolis Coin Exchange. Even though I did not have an appointment, they were very thoughtful and knowledgeable in evaluating a number of items I considered selling. They were a pleasure to work with, and I felt very fair, in calculating what my items were worth. I’m sure many people are disappointed the coins grandma saved are not worth what they hoped. As with any coin business I’ve worked with, the big value is in “fluke” coins that generate lots of demand and in coins with high silver content. These days when banks won’t help with coins and the grocery store machines take a steep percentage, it was great to find a resource that could help me with heavy coins only worth face value that I didn’t want to pay to move (i.e. Eisenhower Dollars). I was also impressed with their online storefront and would think they would be a great partner to any coin enthusiast.”

I’ve been in and out of Michaels at least six times over the past few days handling purchases, exchanges, and returns, and my experiences varied every single time. But two associates absolutely stood out: Brooke and Julia.

Brooke was AMAZING during my first return. She was completely swamped, clearly needed support, and even asked her manager for assistance that never came. Despite that, she handled everything with patience, professionalism, and grace. She truly held it down seamlessly.

Julia is a whole superstar. Over three different visits, I watched her juggle balloon services, process returns, hop on the mic for pickup orders, and help customers at self checkout, all at the same time. For two days in a row she was essentially running the front of the store by herself during peak holiday season. Shame on the managers for leaving her in that position, but major kudos to Julia for her composure, her work ethic, and her dedication to customers.

These two women are the backbone of that store. I hope Michaels recognizes their value because customers definitely do.”

“Great place! My first time in here today, and I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted upon entering, and immediately noticed an expansive selection of sports cards, memorabilia, and even a few other collectibles like Pokémon. I ended up purchasing a box and a few individual packs of cards, as well as a few storage boxes, and the price wasn't bad. I will definitely be back.”

“Best customer service in a long time! Andrew goes above and beyond! He gives the neighborhood kind of friendly helpful service other companies claim to. I had ordered a bow tie online and struggled to get to Annapolis, I live a few towns away but this location is the only one to have in stock even a little near me. Gas prices are of the chain, needed boe tie for temp catering job. Anyway, Andrew was very accommodating in a genuine kind of way, allowing my roommate to pick it up since she worked by there and making sure it didn't hey put back before she could arrive. I did already pay for it online but some other places would have not helped in that sinerio. Andrew did and it came naturally like that's just who he is. Michael's should give him employee of month if they do that. And a raise or buy him lunch. Thank you Andrew
