“My husband and I recently visited Route 22 Hatchet House for a date night (on a total whim) and had such a great time! The facility was clean, spacious, and just a lot of fun. I’ve lived in Aberdeen since this place opened and honestly hadn’t given it much thought because I had no idea how much it offers, There’s a full-service bar and kitchen. I didn’t try any food, but I can confirm that the variety of drinks (especially beers) was impressive, and the ones we ordered were very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and welcoming without being overbearing - just enough to make you feel comfortable and confident with an axe in hand.

I especially appreciated that they offer a variety of fun axe-throwing games beyond the traditional target boards. It made the experience so much more enjoyable for someone like me who’s not quite as accurate as my husband. My favorite was the Wheel of Fortune-style game because even though I missed the board a few times, I made up for it by being better at guessing the phrases and actually winning a few rounds.

I highly recommend Route 22 Hatchet House for date nights, parties (adult), and team gatherings. If you’re on the fence about checking it out, just do.”

I highly recommend this place for events, they do a very good job. Parking is large and easy access, no matter what the weather. I highly recommend this place for you next event.”

“This was my second year at Sandy Cove and it was relaxing. A very peaceful, restful calm place, that not only feeds your natural body by your spirit. The speaker and worship ladies were fantastic!! I would love to mention Chef Alfredo…..he looked for me each meal to make sure I received my protein.”
