Pyramid Atlantic Art Center is a vibrant arts center located in a historic 1925 theatre in Hyattsville. It offers a great selection of cards, paper, and gifts made by local artists. Visitors enjoy walking through the gallery, which features fantastic art shows, and shopping in the friendly gift shop. The center provides many options for art classes, both online and in person. Guests can also find a small museum dedicated to Hyattsville. The staff is known for being super friendly and helpful. Overall, Pyramid Atlantic is a wonderful place to explore art and creativity while supporting local makers.
Historical building, friendly and knowledgeable staff, had a free art exhibit upstairs that was a wonderful experience. Picked up some lovely prints. If we were local I would sign up for one of their printing classes.

You need to visit here! They have rotating exhibits in their gorgeous gallery space upstairs, a working studio with classes available to the public (I've taken letterpress classes, which are SO fun), and the most gorgeous gift shop. The people are lovely and you get great advance info if you become a member!

Such a cool arts center! I took my first class there. It won't be my last. The instructor was knowledgeable and made the class fun. The other participants were interesting which made the class even more fun. Highly recommend.
