The staff is incredible: positive, helpful willing to make your event perfect and easy, from set up, to complicated audio, to clean up; special call out to Liz, Leroy, and James. There are often 2 exhibits at a time and during the opening receptions the artists mingle amongst the guests to talk about their work and the creative process. There is also a lively shop where you can purchase unique pieces from featured and past exhibitors.”

Everything inside was so beautiful and you can tell the craftsman and store owner took pride in their art. “Along Route One in Brentwood is one of many art centers in PG County. You can't miss this one! With a small parking lot there's public art outside of the brick building. Open Monday-Saturday starting at 10am is a gift shop and art gallery with rotating exhibits. They also host events like an annual holiday market with local artisans and makers.”
“I really like the emerging 14th Street and U Street art scenes. I often find myself leaving work and visiting Irvine and Plan B on 14th Street, then walking over to Hamilton and Project 4 on U Street. These private galleries each have their own look, but their feel, well they each make you feel accepted. I like Hamiltonian, for example, because it's staff understands that some visitors only want to appreciate the art for the art. Honestly, I can't tell you about any art movement or modern artists or even notable works. But I can tell you what I find visually appealing, and the guys at Hamiltonian get that.”
“This is such a cool space hiding under Dupont Circle! Came here for the Common Ground / Common Future exhibit where a bunch of local photographers had works on display. I look forward to seeing more shows here! Worth it just to drop in a see the street art around the perimeter.”
