“I rarely leave reviews unless I am completely dissatisfied with the service and facility, but this time I want to recognize an outstanding frontdesk clerk. Her name is Jordon. She was extremely helpful, as I was going through a crisis. Jordon understood what we needed and remained professional throughout. I hope she is recognized and promoted in the near future for her calm demeanor and professionalism. Thank you, Jordon.”

“Beyond my expectations! The service and the people are what make a place and this is it! They go above and beyond. We will definitely be back because of them.
The turn down service is a nice treat too. I’m in love with this hotel and I could talk so much about the quality it offers. The blinds open automatically. The views are amazing. We got a corner room.
Sad it didn’t have a pool or hot tub or a coffee shop within. We walked to the Westin to get Starbucks.”

“5-Stars all around! We were in DC for a concert and at the last minute decided to stay the night and not drive home. We booked on Hotels.com, for a complete steal of $150 +$42 Valet Parking. Was well worth it, only a 10min walk to Capital One Arena. Staff super nice and polite. Room was much bigger than expected. Even got little chocolate mints. Very clean. Mix of a updated hotel, based in the 50's. They have a little bar in the lobby. Only issue was when we were walking to our room, one of the hallways both Snoop Dogg and Willy Nelson must have been staying, my eyes were bloodshot by the time we got through. Our room was fine. Great overnight, would definitely book here again.”

“Make sure you visit AJ at the Watering Hole bar outside the Intercontinental at the Wharf! He is the best and nicest bartender around and takes care of everyone, including the pups who visit! Highly recommend sitting outside for a drink or three.”

“Stayed here the day I proposed to my lady and the hotel staff took such great care of us! After sending them an email in advance, we were given a room upgrade, bottle of wine + goodies and a reserved table with champagne at their rooftop lounge!

This place is an amazing option in Navy Yard, especially if you're going to Albi.”

“The experience here was good. The hotel is nice and well maintained. I was here for an event and the hotel is beautiful, let's get that right. It just set us back a bit since one of the elevators weren't working and the stairs didn't go to the top floor. Or at least I don't think they did. The service was very helpful for whatever else we did need.”

“We stay here 4-5 times a year due to work and it’s the best hotel in the country. Incredible breakfast included and a happy hour from 4-6 every day with 2 free drinks?!?! But the cherry on top is their superstar Mikey G who takes care of us like royalty. I travel 20 times a year. He is best customer service on planet.”

“A new hotel, perfect for active travelers. A contemporary style, what you might find in new hotels in Europe where efficiency and economy are not compromised. The location is perfect, close to Broadways music spots and other attractions but being about two blocks away has you outside of all the crowds. Great staff, great service at a very economical price.”

“You expect quality service when at an upscale or luxury hotel like the Grand Hyatt. Perfect print top the bottom everyone at this hotel provides service like it’s supposed to be. They are engaged and friendly. They make eye contact and acknowledge you when you walk by. They ask how things are going.
Kudos to management for instilling a service culture of excellence at this property and for hiring the wonderful people, which is not easy to do.”

“The price is great. They accept tap without needing a CC present so that made booking super easy for me, since i stopped carrying physical cards. The location is great, you are in the heart of it all. Coffee on the second floor and those machines pump out (i was surprised too) and really good latte. Enjoy!”

“For the most part the staff was good. The folks on the concierge counter was not as helpful and the staff did not listen to what the guest was saying. But they were always nice and polite.”

“Corner room had double queen bedroom, separate living room had large couch with hid-a-bed gave plenty of room for our family of six to sleep. The room had two bathrooms as well. The hotel is clean and modern. A really big draw was the Metro station below the hotel allowed us to leave the room and be ok a train in minutes. Parking was expensive but the valet was efficient the two times we needed the car during the week.

The only area for improvement would be the speed of being able to get an extra blanket during the late evening hours. They wouldn't provide it at the front desk and twice we had to wait an hour for it to be brought to the room.

Great hotel I would highly recommend for pleasure or business travel.”

“This was a beautiful property. It is perfectly located, it is clean, fresh, and well put together. This was very up to date. Their breakfast was very good and the service from Dani, Emma, and Mulu was excellent. Honestly, this is what I hope for when going to a Hilton property and they delivered.”

“I recently went to the Harborside Hotel in Oxon Hill, Maryland, to attend a class that utilized the hotel's conference room. The conference room was located in the basement, and while it wasn’t the most glamorous setting, it was functional and well-equipped for our needs. The space was comfortable for a day-long seminar, and the environment was quiet and conducive to learning.

The bathrooms throughout the hotel were impressively clean, which I always appreciate. It's clear that the hotel prioritizes cleanliness. I can’t speak too much on the rooms as I did not stay in any room. Additionally, there were vending machines conveniently located near the conference area, which was great for quick snacks or drinks throughout the day.

Parking was a breeze with plenty of space available in the back lot, making it easy to get in and out of the hotel without hassle. The hotel overall has a no-frills straightforward approach, but it provides all the necessary amenities for a good seminar for business trips or events. While not an extravagant venue, the Harborside Hotel is reliable for those seeking convenience and practicality for meetings or classes. I would recommend it for anyone attending events in the area.

Nearby activities: Top golf

“Pros: Room is very nice. Staff is excellent. Location is convenient for site seeing. Hotel restaurant food is great. Gym is well equipped.

Cons: It's downtown DC so it was very noisy with police/ambulance sirens.

Overall: Would highly recommend and would stay here again.”

“I was so impressed with the hospitality, helpfulness, and outgoing personalities of all the staff that we encountered. Norman and Tiana were exceptional at the front desk. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable and the location can't be beat if you want to be in the middle of everything. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to D.C. Highly recommend!”

“Rohjhe was great at checkin and the room was nice. It was perfect for me to get a good nights rest and not need a lot of space. The only thing I needed was for the air conditioning to cool the room better. The fan on high didn’t really kick out a lot of air so I had to request a fan be brought up to my room. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and have nothing negative to say about it at all.”

“This is one of the best hotels I've been to! Our group is on a Tour/Vacation to learn about and visit Washington DC, but we walked a lot. The rooms here were great for resting after being out and about all day. The complimentary breakfast there is great and the rooms are clean and the housekeeping is amazing. If you're going to visit DC, this is the hotel you should stay at. I also added a picture of the view too!”

“The rooms were clean/pristine. The staff at check-in was delightful. The shower water pressure was very high - one of the best showers I have ever taken in a hotel. The location was central to a lot of things, namely the convention center. My door had an electronic failure midway through the trip where no key could open it (not controllable) and they had someone up within minutes to replace the whole key system - and then provided me a gift card to the restaurant for my inconvenience (even though it really wasn’t an inconvenience and not their fault at all!). Really lovely hotel and staff.”

“We ate here several times during our week long stay. Beautiful decor and quiet. Would highly recommend either the Cesar with blackened chicken (asked for extra grilled bread) or the shrimp salad w pine nuts, goat cheese and cranberries-both were delicious. My son loved his juicy burger and hot fries. Excellent service-Water and drinks were refilled quickly. Servers were so kind. The manager, Katie Tubridy made us feel so welcomed.
