ALDI in Kensington offers affordable groceries and home goods, making it a popular shopping spot for many local residents. Customers can find a variety of fresh items including meat, seafood, produce, baked goods, deli products, and frozen treats, all at low prices. The store is also a good source for home essentials and limited-time must-have items. Shoppers can choose to order online for curbside pickup or grocery delivery, providing convenience for those with busy schedules. The store features multiple checkout lanes, though wait times can vary, and customers need to use a quarter to rent a shopping cart, which is refunded upon return. However, some shoppers have expressed concerns about the store environment. Issues such as long lines at checkout and pallets blocking aisles occasionally hinder the shopping experience. Customer service quality varies, with some employees being very kind while others seem less attentive or dismissive. Safety and security are also concerns, as some customers have reported feeling uncomfortable due to groups loitering outside the store or being followed to their cars. There have been instances of harassment and unwanted attention from individuals outside the store, which can make shopping less pleasant. Despite these issues, many customers appreciate the store's competitive prices and good product selection. The store does not provide shopping bags, so bringing reusable bags is recommended. Overall, ALDI in Kensington is a convenient and budget-friendly option for grocery shopping, though shoppers should be aware of potential safety concerns and plan for possible wait times.
I love ALDIs, however most of the times at the Md stores they have only one cashier.. In Va they have self service machines. Why not in Md? It will expedite the time to be in the stores

A relatively new addition to the chain. Fully stocked and up to speed. Operates in line with my expectations.

No self checkout. No express lanes. I'm trying to figure out why I wait in line for a half hour to save a dollar. I'm going to have to reevaluate my decision-making process.
