Furniture Stores in Kensington, MD

“Go-to retail shop for all things creative and DIY. Especially if you are one to look for inspiration in-person rather than on Pinterest, you should wander here to find your next project. Kensington has a street dedicated to antique retailers, consignors and upcyclists which goes by "Kensington Antique Row." More information can be viewed at: kensingtonantiquerow.com.”

“I had 2 very heavy table lamps repaired at HomeWorks. The owner helped me get the lamps from my car and into the shop. Service was excellent! I found the owner professional, helpful, and kind. This store is small but offers a vast inventory of items that can be used to decorate modern homes or quaint cottages. Homeworks is so much more than a lamp repair shop. I intend to return to visit/shop when I have more time. Meanwhile, I will check out their online store as well. By the way, my lamps were repaired and ready for pickup the next day, and they are working perfectly!”

“I came to Once A Tree after having a horrible experience with another business down the street that offered similar services. I had a mid century bar cart that had been attempted by a previous business to be restored, it was essentially ruined in the attempt. I worked closely with the master cabinet maker at Once A Tree and he was able to strip, reassemble and restore the wood bar cart to near perfection. The time frame, and price were extremely fair and I will look forward to working with Once A Tree in the future. Highly Recommended.”
