The actual move couldn’t have gone better. We had a ton of stuff in our three-story townhouse, but the team handled everything without a hitch. They even helped pack up things we hadn’t gotten to yet. The movers worked hard, took care with our fragile items, and made the whole process way less stressful than we expected.”

“I was in contact with several moving companies and decided on Nation Capital Movers due to them calling me back within a few minutes after the call. Peter was super helpful as I had a lot of questions about the move but he made it clear about what to expect and confirmed my date and time. The two gentleman showed up promptly at 8:30 and the started right away moving items into the truck, they were finished in no time and off to my new place. Once they arrived they were back at it unloading everything and placing it exactly where I wanted things to be. Super courteous, polite and hard working people. “I used NYP movers recently and was glad I did. While this was a local move, it was complicated by the fact that some things were going to my new place, some to a different home and some were staying in my home to be picked up later by an organization. Amazingly, everything got to the right place with one minor glitch, which they immediately resolved. The four person moving team worked especially well together and were respectful and cooperative through the whole experience.
Communication was good throughout. Ali took the time to meet with me beforehand to be sure everything was clear and that I knew what to expect on moving day. Text messages were promptly returned, which was very appreciated. I would definitely recommend using NYP movers to others.”

They arrived on time and were extremely efficient, thorough and careful throughout our entire moving process. Our items we wrapped and packed securely. They were able to get all of our big, heavy furniture out of our house without any damage to our walls, floors etc. we have narrow stairways and when we moved in the previous company dinged and damaged the walls quite a bit. The workers were courteous and mindful of our stuff, communicative and fast. They completed our move very expeditiously and we are super happy and thankful for their help”

The moving crew called me the morning of the move, and provided their ETA. They arrive early.
I have used 4-5 other moving companies and their team was by far the most professional and they actually worked. The did not milk the clock.
I have never experienced a company put down floor protection and padding around the doorway they were using to move items in and out of.

I contacted 48 states on a short notice about my move Mike was very nice and professional and with in minutes I got all the information I needed including what and how is going to happen on my move date. I received a flat rate I was happy with and the move went exactly we planned. I moved many times before but this was hands down the best moving percipience I had. I hope this review helps and don't hesitant to call 48 States they are great.”
