“I had an excellent customer service experience with Terron. After waiting in a long line, he greeted me with a smile and was overall very pleasant. Because of this, I felt comfortable enough to ask him about an item which was not stocked on the shelf and which was the primary reason for my visit. He told me he knows it is in stock and if I would like for him to grab it for me. Needless to say, I was taken aback by this above and beyond offer and quickly agreed only if it would not create trouble for him. He finished ringing up my items, disappeared for all of 30 seconds and was back with options of the requested item for me to choose from. The customer behind me wanted the item, too, and was happy to get one as well.
Hire more people like Terron. He is exemplary!”

“This store has to be the busiest store. Locally for Aldi. This store suffered a detriment to its efficiency when the Self-Checkout lanes were eliminated. The reason given was that shoplifting was rampant and profits were affected. However, in order to handle the large amounts of customers more than 2 checkout lanes need to be open at all times. It's often discouraging for a shopper that has an small amount of items to see a line backed up to the Aldi finds isle upon entering the store. Perhaps they can revisit the Self-Checkout in another capacity. Maybe similar to the system at Primark where you have to scan your receipt to exit. In this case you have 1 employee to overwatch multiple registers. In this age of automation surely the German based company can devise a new system rather that having to revert after making such progress in grocery store efficiency.”

“The staff are always super friendly and efficient here. The new female security guard is really on top of things. Someone was going to walk in who clearly wasn't set on paying and she nipped it in the bud. She also greets customers as they enter and leave. Really welcoming vibe.”

For example, I needed a lemon/lime press and Safeway only had one option for $22. I checked savemart and they had FIVE options, all for less than $12. I got exactly what I needed!”

It can be a bit pricey, but the location is unbeatable, and it's a lifesaver when you need something quick without having to trek to Giant, Whole Foods, or Trader Joe's. The staff is always friendly, and they're open almost all day.”

“I love that this store has automatic doors I don't have to use a glove but to pick up my items. I'm 3x high risk and this place is Less packed FOR ME far more than grand mart capital plaza and food way. I LOOOVE they practice COVID-19 safety precautions and they have everything neatly packaged. I came here for something small and I found the spare ribs I've been searching for for eeoons smh, I'm telling you don't sleep on these international markets they have everything your giant,Wegmans etc has and stuff you can't find!!! . So I've been getting my ribs from here, they sell their beets INDIVIDUALLY!!! (Can you see my excitement lol) which I love because I can't always afford the whole thing or need the whole thing so it helps they have mushrooms/peppers all produce individually and weigh it pretty smart if you ask Me. This place is clean, the seafood department I'm definitely going back they keep it on ice as required, fresh, the Men are very helpful throughout the store they even go above and beyond if they can't help they'll ask someone else which is dope. I get so much stuff esp if I'm making my noodle bowls this place is better in every way in my opinion I don't have a complaint yet. They have a great selection of Lamb,Goat,Oxtails and it's affordable. They accept all payments btw they seriously have live swimming seafood in the Tanks I was uneasy at first and wtf but I got used to it but you won't regret any Purchase made here!”

“I went to store #342 on 12/13/25. Michelle the cashier at the Giant was so nice and very professional! Michelle took the time to help me with my giant app that all of a sudden was acting like it wasn't trying to function well, Michelle took her time helping me and it ran into the time that she was supposed to be getting off of work. Michelle Still was willing to help me it was very frustrating for me and got very overwhelming Michelle helped me through the overwhelming and getting my giant app working as should have! Michelle was a blessing at that time of help! I could have left the store feeling pissed off overwhelmed and some more, but I did not thanks to Michelle! I left the store feeling great ? Thank You Michelle ? I really hope that Michelle will get the recognition for going way and beyond best customer service cashier from Giant Food Corporation! On February the 4th 2026 I went to the store 3:42 4119 Branch avenue Marlow heights Maryland 20748. The cashier Matthew was very professional and such the perfect gentleman! I really appreciate it how Matthew greeted me and welcome me to shopping at Giant! That makes you want to shop more at Giant the one where Matthew works! I hope when I go back to shop at Giant Matthew is still a cashier there it really makes me feel great when you're appreciated! Thank you Matthew! “Aldi's prices always catch me off guard because they are so good. The current cost of groceries almost makes it necessary that you go to Aldi's they are more limited than a regular grocery store but it's worth the trip. They have excellent house brands. Today, I was able to purchase a corned beef roast, a pound of raw but fully cleaned large shrimp, premium cans of white chicken breast, cheese, and a dozen large eggs for $1.46. these are just the proteins. I had a full grocery basket with fruit and vegetables as well as many assorted staples and snacks. My total bill was amazingly under $80. If you haven't tried Aldi's you are missing out.”
