“First time trying GNC in Laurel, and it was a great experience. It was easy to find everything I was looking for, and it's only about 7 minutes from my gym, which is very convenient. They had everything I needed in stock, and the store was well organized. I'll definitely be back.”

“This is the best herb I have ever been to! I learned a lot simply by being in the shop and listening to the amazingly helpful conversations. The detailed, extensive knowledge they have is impressive. They are truly experts and patient while being able to supply my entire herbal list. I was impressed by the wall to wall high quality fresh herbs from all over the world. They were welcoming and encouraged a visit to enjoy the serenity of their garden outside the store and to feel free to snack on the fresh fennel.”

“I love Roots and highly recommend this store for a number of reasons. I have been shopping at Roots since it opened and can bear witness to their consistent commitment to make the shopping experience better for every customer. I live approximately 1 hour away but make the trip a couple of times a month to shop here. Why do I drive so far? Because the customer service, selection and sales are top tier! I will share just some of my experiences shopping at Roots Market. I am a healthcare professional who worked through the pandemic. At a time when we didn’t know much about the virus, I decided that it was best if I did not enter the store for the staff’s and customer’s safety. I would arrive after a long shift with scrubs on. I stood outside of the door with a list. The team members would collect my list and gladly shopped for my items bringing them outside to me. Additionally, every item that I have ever requested has been brought in without hesitation. I have been a plant based traveler for over 3 decades and often have opportunities to try a variety of new products. I have requested everything from Rebel and Dare plant based cheese to Abbots plant based proteins. Within weeks they were all there! I regularly place orders for cases of unique items like soy free tofu and coconut cherry yogurt . They are happily fulfilled! I always receive a call within days informing me of products arrival. I have done a comparison at other local stores and can honestly say Roots market has the area’s largest selection of plant based goods. Whether you are making a charcuterie board or a lasagna they have you covered. Additionally, their sales and every day value products are amongst the best of any locally owned grocery store.”

“Ryan provided one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to understand exactly what my goals were instead of just trying to sell me something. He explained the differences between products, answered every question with confidence, and made recommendations that actually fit my needs. What stood out most was how thoughtful and professional he was. You can tell Ryan genuinely knows his supplements and cares about helping people make informed decisions. If you're looking for someone who is honest, assertive, and truly knows the products inside and out, ask for Ryan. He's a huge asset to this store, and I'll definitely be coming back because of the service he provided. Highly recommend! 💪”

“I used to love this place, but the prices are through the roof. Still, some items are cheaper than buying on Amazon. It still provides dairy products that are NOT offered anywhere else, and is a cut above other health food stores. But too many times the items I go there to get are sold out. We rely on it for dairy. Has lots of pasture raised products. Two bags of groceries can easily run $200.”

“I have been in this branch a couple of times. I have had great shopping experience, I’ve got the stuff I needed. There’s great dinning areas too, neat table in there. There’s also plenty of parking with options to go for a walk on the back side round the lake. Overall the area around is attractive and this whole foods worth 5 star⭐”
