“The absolute perfect venue to host our small wedding (guest list of <60). Laytonsville is such a small, cute town, and this venue is perfectly located within. Every location was beautiful, from The Bride’s Room and The Floral Shop in the barn where we got ready, The Garden Pergola for our first look, The Grove for our ceremony, and The Stone Pavilion for cocktail hour/the reception, we thoroughly enjoyed being able to use all the views this venue had to offer. The owner, Emmi, and Venue Manager, Melissa, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and exactly the way we planned. They were very involved every step of the way and always made sure all our questions/concerns were continually addressed. We visited numerous times throughout planning and Melissa was always more than happy to schedule walkthroughs for any vendors who wanted to come out to see the place. We are so blessed to have found this gem of a venue because we truly had the perfect wedding day!”

“I highly recommend visiting this museum. They have changing art exhibits and workshops, a variety of cultural presentations, art studios for rent, an archive for the preservation of local historical records and Friday night lectures. There are activities throughout the year for all age groups. Coming up in June will be their popular Strawberry Festval.”

“Great gym! Both of my girls went here for a year, and then got busy with other things. The coaches were always really positive and fun, and they both enjoyed their time! When it was time to cancel, it was no hassle at all. When there was a billing error, someone emailed *me* to let me know about it, and fixed it without any fuss at all! We will definitely be back when our littlest is ready for gymnastics!”

“I found this Art gallery Art Barn on the AARP App. AARP is not just for seniors. It's located in an affluent neighborhood of Kentlands. It is very quaint, and they provide classes and events for families and school-age kids but be prepared to pay a hefty fee for events of your choosing. For example, I wanted to sign up for the ceramics class and it's $176 for residents and $200 for non-residents, no judgment it's probably well worth it when you think of the supplies, etc., They're currently featuring new local artists and they are some talented artistsThe staff is friendly. Oh, be prepared to wear a mask when you attend their events because it's a very close quarter. Thanks, guys you were very welcoming and nice to me. I looking forward to being back on 2/26 to attend the reception to meet all the artists who are showcasing their artwork now.”

“This place has improved over the years. Looks like they are redoing some green surrounds and bunkers soon too. I heard rumors they are redoing their fairways next year as well. Affordable memberships considering the area. I have friends who have been members for years and still enjoy it. The golf course is really solid. They have a great mixture of holes. A couple of drivable par 4s and all the par 5s are reachable from certain tees. Two tough par 3s on the back that can make or break a round. Green surrounds are tough if you're in the wrong spot. The greens themselves are always in fantastic shape. They are severely sloped at times, so you must be accurate with your approach shots. I couldn't find the golf course architect on their website, but they did a good job considering the hilly topography and small footprint of the property. But I can also see one hitting pretty much the exact same shots every time no matter what tee box you're playing. Favorite hole: Par 5 12th, except for the yellow range balls that litter the left side. Downhill the entire way. Range on the left, trees and then the 18th hole on the right. Reachable for many with usually a blind-ish to a peninsula green with water right and long. The very tall red stake frames the front right of the green. Very cool hole before the brutally tough par 3 13th. The driving range is good and they have really nice Titleist practice balls to hit. The short game area is outstanding. I could spend hours out there with a few wedges. They have two small-ish putting greens on either side of the clubhouse. The restaurant is a great space and they have an area for bigger events. The food and service are both good too. Sadly, I have not enjoyed the pool area. Just a solid club overall. The members I have interacted with have all been great. I have had and heard somewhat mixed interactions with the people that run the place, but nothing bad enough to write about here.”

“Attended a wedding here and had a great time! A beautiful venue with immaculate grounds and a stunning interior. The ceremony had to be moved inside due to weather, but the ballrooms are just as great for an indoor ceremony. Food was decent, but nothing spectacular. The staff was also accommodating and friendly.”

“The front desk staff at this hotel does an amazing job at acknowledging us Hilton Honors members from the moment we arrive. Special shout out to Kazi, who consistently goes above and beyond with his service, and to Stephen, who always accommodates our requests and remembers our preferences. It’s clear that this location takes staff training seriously — everyone we’ve interacted with is professional, courteous, and well-prepared. This is one of the reasons we keep coming back. Great job to the whole team!”
