“Allview is such a hidden gem in HoCo. If you’ve gone to Lee Lynn’s for food you’ve literally walked passed the front door to get there. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, doesn’t harass or force you to buy something just for the sake of buying it.
This has been my go to store for going on 7 years now or more and even if/when we move I’ll make the Mecca to buy from Justin and his team. From one off picks that there’s maybe 1 other in the entire country, to first time in the state of Md that barrels were picked from a specific mash (hello wild turkey). Some store owners just sell stuff to you and forget about the personal aspect of it all. The stories that go with the barrel picks out the community it builds.

“We worked with the Wine Bin to create a bar for our wedding and could not have been happier with what was put together! Dave, the owner, has extensive knowledge and his expertise helped us create a menu with classics and unique selections. Our signature cocktails were consumed in a flash and many guests commented on how great they were. We feel like with Dave's help we got not only quality beverages, but at an affordable price. I'd recommend the Wine Bin for a large-scale event, but also to go and pick up a bottle of something you've never tried. You may find your new favorite drink. Thanks for everything, Dave!”

“I've been coming here for many years and you cannot beat the prices for liquor and beer. Goldberg's is a no nonsense purveyor of all things alcohol. From the aptly named bottom shelf bathtub booze to the blue label Johnny Walker, they have it all in any quantity you want. The best part is the drive thru window! Pull up and get whatever you want without even hopping out the car.”
“Great store next to Trader Joe's for a quick daily wine. The employees are so helpful and friendly! They even have tasting every week that you may attend, for free! The place is quite hip. The only thing is wine is not cheap here! Maybe its the clientele, but the wine is easily ~$5 more expensive if you buy it from discount stores and the selection is quite limited with mostly daily wines. They have an Instagram page and a webpage which they keep up with regularly. I'm not a regular here but have visited a few times and if I'm in a pinch I would visit.”

“Shopper's is a nice store to visit. They don't have the strongest selection of wines but they have enough. The service is good and the staff are helpful. As with the wines they don't have a string selection of beers but they have enough I would recommend this establishment.”

“Great local wine and spirit store. Bout a week ago (Shmurda voice)!!! I realized I was low and Sunday was nigh so I stopped by Wine and Barrel to get some spirits for my soul. Always clean. Always friendly. Always helpful and will come from behind the counter to assist. And IF (only if) something is open they are willing to allow taste test. The XXL Wine in Apple is delicious!!! 16% had my head bobbling. If you’re on Grand Central (or nah) great place to purchase your spirit groceries. Shop Local!! Be kind to one another it’s hard at here for business owners just like it is for consumers.”

I've gotten to know the owners, Gerard, Brad, and Steve over the years as well, they've always been professional, friendly, and helpful, but I'm sorry to hear that they sold their business, they'll be missed for sure. I spent an hour pumping cash into their lotto machine and buying scratch offs, just scratching the bar code, and then scanning it hoping I'd win big! And lo and behold after and hour I won $500! With what I spent on the scratch offs that was about $200s profit! I spent it on a fine bottle of Japanese Whisky. Didn't even know whisky was from Japan! I drank it in my tent in my mom's backyard because we aren't talking right now. Very nice whisky!”
“This store has a huge selection and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I went in because I was looking for a special wine. The store had the brand I was looking for but not the wine. They recommended two different types. Both were good,but not as good as the one I was looking for. I will be visiting the store again.”
