“Friendly helpful staff. Has a bit of everything. Located in a small community outside of town, it stays open until 10:00pm, which is later than most stores in town! A much needed, very accommodating asset to the area!”

“They usually have almost anything you might need. Wide selection of items. They make homemade snacks to sell. Gas prices are a few cents under most other places. Cigarette prices are about the same as most places in Maryland. Employees and Owner are very friendly and personable. If they don't have something you could always ask and Owner may order it just because you asked, he has taken special requests for items in the past. Great little hometown store!”

“These Dollar general stores are some of the most well stocked, discount grocery stores i've seen. The variety of product is expansive and challenges my chain store supermarket at home. Read a review about slow checkout and after several visits the human checkout is always quick, friendly and warm. The only thing it lacks is smaller individual milks which if you have a cream craving can easily sate with their small ice creams.”

“Let me start by saying I never have problems INSIDE the store. I shop inside alot & I buy alot of food & drinks every month at Martins. My problem is when I stop to get gas ⛽️ Outside. I have had problems more than just Once with Harold who works there at the Gas Pumps. I pump my gas the SAME everywhere I go. No trouble anywhere but Here & ONLY when Harold is working. I talked to Customer Service last time he yelled at me while getting gas. But now Here we are AGAIN bcuz Harold ONCE AGAIN yelled at me yesterday while getting gas in front of my 2 Daughters, My Mother, & 2 people in a truck beside Us. I had hopes this would be taken care of the last time I talked to a Customer Service person about this issue. But here we are again.
If somebody stops & Pays money to get Gas ⛽️....... they dont feel like having to deal with Harold yelling at them bcuz he dont like how they are pumping their gas. As long as nobody is damaging the gas pumps, he should not say Anything to anybody.
I Fill my tank everytime I stop. But Next time I'll probably just go 500 feet over to 7-Eleven & get gas. So I'm not harassed & yelled at by Harold.”
“This is usually my go to DG for quick items. The store is a hit or miss as far as stocked items but other than that the employees are nice and I usually don't have to wait too long to check out. Their self check out is a nice addition as well. I've also done dg to go and pick up as well with very little to no issues. I see Karen everytime im there and she's always a big help! I hope as a company you're paying her good because she deserves every last penny.”

“Dollar general has a very good digital coupon program for those who use a cell phone. I only buy my laundry detergent, bathroom supplies and cleaning supplies at Dollar General. My last bill before digital coupons was $99.00 and after digital coupons it was $58.00. Very well worth my time.”
“This is a nice, large Martin's that has a great selection and good prices, especially if you're a Martin's member, which is free to sign up. Great health foods with lots of vegetarian and gf options. Good kombucha selection in the fresh vegetables department.”
“Should have more cashier working why should I work for free doing a cashier's job just so I can get out of there faster I can't work anybody for free and get by with it they don't reduce my bill for doing a cashier's job getting out faster is not a reward it should be mandatory stop being so cheap hire more people.”
