“Upon referral, I took my car here for an alignment on a Saturday morning. The owner/manager was super nice and knowledgeable and my car was serviced right away. It was put on an electronic alignment machine and it was completed in less than an hour. I went back and told the gentleman (not the owner/manager) who did the alignment it was still pulling and I had to make the car steer straight. He called me a "liar" and was very rude to me, saying I did something to the car. He performed another alignment to fix the problem and returned the car to me when done. However, when driving off, the car still pulled and I still had to make the car steer straight. Rather than go back, I called my mechanic and he referred me to his alignment person. I went right away and it was done. My car drive like its brand new. He said even though it might have been done twice by Temple Hills Tire & Auto, the person obviously did not know what they were doing. Beware!”

“I think they are good at what they do. I had a flat tire, and came here simply by way of a Yelp search with all the positive reviews. I was worried that I would need to replace my tire, but it just needed a plug which cost about $20. When they finally got to me, the guy who worked on my car was efficient and quick. I ended up tipping him because he was really good. I forgot his name unfortunately. The only annoying thing is having to wait and how traffic gets backed up into the street. It was my first time there, so didn't really know what to expect. I waited about 1.5 hours before my car was finally seen, and maybe only spent 15 minutes in there for service. I guess the cost and quickness of the service offset the long wait time. I would definitely come back though in the future and try to come during less busy times like early in the morning or later in the evening.”

“Edit - 2 months later I have taken my wife's van and my own car back for some valve stem issues. All I can say is you don't find service like this anywhere around here. This is old school customer service. They genuinely care and you are not a number.You can take your car to NTB, pay a premium, get told about all these things you need to fix on your car, then have to wait day for you car to get tires (because your appointment means nothing) OR you can come here during your hour lunch break and be in and out. I'll choose the latter every time. ;)”

“Needed tires immediately as a pot hole in DC flattened 2 tires. They had the size and quantity I needed and were close by. I ended up having to purchase 2 more tires (the tire ratings were different) elsewhere and have all 4 tires balanced. Good for an emergency situation, but would probably go somewhere else to just have tires replaced.”

“Bob came highly recommended to me by my boyfriend’s mother - I came all the way from La Plata, MD. Bob and his son were nothing short of being God-sent… wonderful! Honda auto shop tried to charge me $1000 xtra for the same service! Also, Bob and his son found that the Honda dealer basically were going to rip me off in general for a new water pump and coolant (which wasn’t needed). That’s right! Car Dealerships are charging people for parts that don’t even need to be replaced, and completely not mentioning the parts that actually need replacing! I needed a new AC compressor (per Bob) and Honda completely failed to mention that. Bob took care of me like a father would! He felt horrible that Honda did this to me and he fixed my car within 24 hours. When I came to pick up my car, his son lifted my hood and showed me exactly what was fixed and why - he was so knowledgeable and kind. If you want HONEST work, FAIR affordable prices, and a job WELL DONE, look no further. You’re in trusted hands here at Branch Ave Tire & Auto.Most importantly, my 2010 civic is now driving like brand new, after years of taking it to Honda and their never acknowledging the cause for my car shaking (AC compressor/belt). They’d instead find a bunch of other issues with parts that in hindsight probably didn’t need to be replaced. “Was driving from Baltimore to cap heights to meet with a client of mine and my tire blew right before I was passing bowie… I changed to a spare tire then quickly looked up tire shops near my destination and saw pishon pop up first. Gave them a call and no answer but then THEY called me back less than 10 sec later and said they could take me in to give my car some new tires.
