“Extremely well stocked and organized location. Shelves were very neat and orderly. There were amazing deals such as buy two bags of lays chips and get two for free. This location had better prices and deals than the local Walmart. The floors were very clean and the aisles were clear of large boxes making it easy to maneuver our cart. Aesthetically it’s definitely the best Dollar General I’ve been to.”

“Stopping here is like stepping into a 70s road-side ice house. A lot of food and supplies are packed into a small space and it feels like a family run business. The gas pumps are vintage equipment with extra long hoses to reach around the car. I hope the future Rte219 road won't divert all the business away from this historic place.”

“We were traveling back from visiting Frostburg and went by this little country store during the lunch hour. Not a lot of items in the store but they have pizza, wedgies, subs, hot dogs, hamburgers, and ice cream items. We got a steak and cheese sub and a coney dog. The sauce on the coney dog tasted a lot like that sauce my wife has made over the years. It was a tad sweet but pretty close in taste. I wish I would have gotten some jalapeno peppers on it which would have offset the sweetness. It was a pretty good hot dog. The steak and cheese sub was good, although I thought it was a little salty. My wife thought it was fine. I will have to say it was very bright in color with the lettuce and tomatoes. Both items were cooked while we waited. We didn’t have any pizza but did see some of them go out that day for take-out, they looked good. In fact, one lady had 3 or 4 pizza’s and I think 6 sundaes or such. I failed to take a picture of the menu. Actually, the menu I picked up and took with me had different prices than what was posted in the store. The hard copy menu was more expensive. I guess wedgies are a big thing in the area and are made with the same crust as a pizza. Not sure of the difference between a wedgie or calzone. Overall, this place was a pleasant surprise. Would I go again? Yes. How far would I go to get there? 20 minutes.”
“Love this store. Best part is close to home since I live in Deer Park and all other stores are at least 10 minutes away. Also love most of the employees here always kind and helpful. Best part for me is that they are open till 10pm. I work late so it is great not having to run to town when getting off late. Great store ...”
“I occasionally stop by this Dollar general when I visit my daughter in friendsville. I stopped in to grab a few things on Saturday evening and Shelly was my cashier. She was very friendly and had such a beautiful smile as I spoke to her. Very refreshing to meet a nice person after a long ride in the crazy traffic. This made me return to pick up snacks for my ride home on Monday. Shelly wasn't working but another really nice friendly young lady named Kelly was. I will surely be stopping in again and very soon. Thank you Ladies.”
“It's a small place, so selection isn't great, but they have what we like and the prices are very good!! The people that work there are very nice. The pub next door has good food, nice atmosphere and good prices as well!”
“My husband is in the area working. He got some steaks here for Easter. I was blown away by them. Very thick, cooked up great, definitely worth the price. Very tender and I could chew it pretty well with my messed up teeth. That's always been my issue with steak. So yes Very impressed ? ? ?”
“Not sure which Dollar General this was but I only shop at 3 different ones in my area and thats The DG in Accident Md. The 1 on Chestnut Ridge Rd and the newest one in Grantsville on Main St. Which I have to say Im very impressed with the store step up the quantity and quality of products and the availability of items being as the stores only been open I believe this Sun will be 2 weeks. So far the few staff that I've interacted with were all very friendly and very helpful. And I personally would like to Thank The Town of Grantsville for giving us local residents a awesome brand new Dollar General and lets not forget that Freezer section thats like a God send just in its own.”

“This Walmart is for the Oakland Maryland facility. Standard Walmart. I usually go first thing in the morning and there's some employees there that are always super kind especially the women at the self-checkout all of them are extremely friendly and helpful. The stock person Susan is always pleasant no matter what time it is. There's a few others but I can't recall their names. I do wish they had green apple Gatorade though. Other than that I have no complaints about the store the remodeling looks nice in the store. I really like the fact that they've added more self-checkout aisles. I recommend coming here.”
