“Very friendly staff and management who are clearly making an effort. The facilities are clean. My storage unit was clean and a nice checklist they had to follow to make sure it was ready was definitely followed. The storage door works perfectly. Easy to open and close, *and* the latch lines up perfectly without having to hold it down with your foot. There's a light inside the storage unit. Love that! All of the carts are in perfect working order. The handlebars were properly bolted on. These nice little details add up. Other storage locations usually have problems with doors and carts. So thank you to the employees working there.On the negative: one of the motorized entrance gates wasn't working and is left open until it can be repaired. I've experienced the same thing at other locations. I guess these gates break a lot. They assure you the place is monitored 24/7, but there's no way for someone monitoring a security camera to know who's authorized in and to what storage unit. It would be trivial for someone to go in and empty out a few units. I really wish Extra Space would wise up and have a backup plan for the unreliable gates. How about a manually operated gate with a physical keypad that we can use temporarily? Send a message to customers with the code and an explanation.Second negative: there's only a bathroom in the office. You're out of luck after hours. Not a big deal, but I've really appreciated having a bathroom available at other locations. Inevitably you need a bathroom after moving or while organizing the storage unit. It sucks having to stop what you're doing to go find a bathroom. Please consider adding one or maybe a porta potty.Overall, great storage location. Don't hesitate to use it.”
