βAbsolutely love coming here for lunchtime , It's just a 5 to 10 minute walk to and from the jobsite and the sandwiches are delicious.
I personally recommend the Monument (If you're big like me ? / also get it with the pickle on the side, their pickles are really good too.) or the Chicken salad for something lighter.
They have plenty of drinks and snacks available as well, which is perfect for these scalding hot days that've been hounding down on everyone around the Navy Yard.
100% Recommend visiting and trying out their sandwiches or other Menu items when you're around!β

βI was confused at first if they wanted anyone to come in considering the fact that the door is so hard to open…my shoulder almost came out the socket trying to get in. Other than that, very nice place and staff is kind.β
βDrove up from Va to do some shopping. When you first walk in it's a Liquor store. Wide selection and plenty of options. Prices are cheaper then Va. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Small grocery section for spices and some other kitchen needs. Large section of sausages in hot or mild in both beef and pork. Want to buy in bulk this is the place to shop. Nice fresh butcher cut meats packaged for you at affordable
prices. They have seafood as well and boxes of crab legs. Also they had bone in Tomahawk steaks. They sell in as well. You can buy a variety of cuts from chicken, beef, pork, goat, seafood( fish, crab, shrimp) stuff. Will defiantly be back again.β
βThis is my 4th or 5th time eating here and today I got the breakfast special 2 waffles and 3 wings with a extra wing and the French toast special with a beef sausage and eggs with cheese 🧀.....everything was amazing for 28$ total.β

βBolling Commissary is always a clean, well-kept spot that has all your basic grocery needs. I used to shop here regularly when I lived closer because it was quiet, organized, and always stocked.
That said, this review is all about the sushi inside the Commissaryβand let me just say, itβs hands down the BEST sushi Iβve ever had. Iβve traveled all over the world, including Japan, and this sushi is truly a hidden gem. Itβs always fresh, always delicious, and never disappoints.
My go-to is the chicken teriyaki roll, but I also love the shrimp tempura roll. Honestly, I could eat it every single day. I highly recommend it to anyone in the areaβdefinitely give it a try!β

The Convenience Store is in an ALL income area. Home owners, renters, and Seniors. Most people are on a fixed income and Seniors could buy more if they had more fresh fruits and veggies and accepted the Senior Benefit Card. The younger home owners have a great selection of wines.β

I was actually planning to go to the Walmart across the road but decided to check this place out first and Iβm so glad I did. I visits this location probably twice a month and each time I see her I light up.
I also work in Retail and it could be Very challenging . Miss Amber, does it well.

βIt was opened just a handful of months ago but I have gone there a number of times. Its always clean. I do have one unfortunate problem with something and I know its not the employees fault. I don't have any experience with other ones and maybe this is how they run it elsewhere but its a major inconvenience. Next to never is there someone at the cash register. They all seem to be over in there kitchen area. From what I can see the cashiers also work at the samecexact time they're on the register because of that it can take a handful of minutes for someone to come over to ring you up. Either they're actually in the middle of making something or just unable to see you or both. I don't get mad at them because its not their fault. So maybe a suggestion that I myself may start doing is if I'm or you are ready to check at at that moment try to get someone's attention over there if you don't see someone at the register. Ive seen people raise their voices and or flat out yell at them and its kind of funny because if you have been over at their food counter you will know that they can't hear you. So to all the nasty people who thinks they're making g these poor employees feel bad you aren't. They just can't hear you!🤣β
