The staff there are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable, unlike other pet stores where the associates can't answer questions because they either don't know or haven't been properly trained. A nice young lady named Lynn took care of me, and she was well-informed about everything. We recently adopted a rescue dog from out of state and I needed supplies. She knew exactly what I was looking for and where to find it. She also made suggestions that not only saved me money but were perfect for my fur baby. Thank you, Pet Supplies Plus! I will definitely be telling my friends about the great Customer Service I received.

Maddie was a nightmare of hair and mats but I did try to cut out the majority of the mats. I usually have her groomed every six weeks but I had radiation in August and was extremely sick until March this year. Gail shaved her and made her look so cute. I am totally in love with Gail and her amazing kindness to fix the mess I made of my sweet baby.

Dr Palm and the staff are all very friendly receptive and helpful. Dr Palm researches everything and refers our dogs when needed. She’s extremely knowledgeable and has caught issues other veterinarians have missed or misdiagnosed.

This week, a couple of days into a 9-day stay, staff members noticed a potential medical issue and contacted us to see how we’d like to proceed. The owner, Rachann, went above and beyond, personally taking our dog to his usual vet, making necessary decisions in our absence, and acquiring and administering prescribed medications as a result. We are so grateful for the concern and care Mariah Belle showed for our boy!

Our recently adopted rescue dog can be challenging due to anxiety and reactivity, but Scarlett was exceptionally attentive and flexible, adjusting her approach to ensure he felt as safe and comfortable as possible. Her care and responsiveness made a huge difference for our dog. We wil absolutely trust The Dog House again.

Dreamy Skies Dog Training
26330 Mullinix Mill Rd, Mt AiryWe are very fortunate to have found Karen and Dreamy Skies. Maizy (our dog of many years) and Violet (our new dog) were having trouble getting along. Maizy seemed outright mean toward Violet, and Violet could be very irritating. We were afraid we might not be able to keep them both. But Karen solved that problem and taught us much, much more.
Karen really connects emotionally with the dogs. She has quite a curriculum that she gives to the owners over an extended period. It is a lot of homework, but if you do it, you and your dogs will be much happier. Karen is fabulous and runs a great business.

5718 Ridge Rd, Mt AiryWe have been taking our GSD to Dr K for some years and have always been very happy with the care provided. Sadly our most recent visit was to euthanize him. They are very very kind and caring and lovingly put him down. When we eventually recover from our loss and get another dog we will definitely bring them to Country Kennel. We strongly recommend this veterinarian to everyone.

The place welcomes kids and dogs (not a plus for me but the beer is worth it...) Located in an old bank building in downtown Mt Airy. Good food truck.

Most recent visit, after being introduced to some ciders at an annual MD Cider Festival (they were one of the vendors), I found my way here - well, I was in the area for something else and decided to visit them. Two reasons: (1) Someone I met at the festival said I needed to try their Apple Pie Iced Cream cider. (2) I overheard one of the reps (at the festival) say their popular cider was Raspberry which they didn't have there. So, I knew I had to stop by I was able to taste a few of their ciders on tap and it helped me in making my decisions on which to get (not to drink there but getting them to-go). Not all were on tap, but that was okay. Here is what I got (to-go): Raspberry Creamsicle Orange Cream Apple Pie Iced Cream I enjoyed all three ciders despite them being canned and I'm looking forward to trying others. I tried the Pumpkin Pie Cider (not canned) last year - that is one of my favorites so far. Visited September 2024

The addition of the permanent food truck/kitchen is convenient and the offerings I've tried have been very good. Bringing your own fare with you is always an option as well. Their better wines can get quite pricey but if you want to stay local, they're some of the best around. Consider becoming a member if you enjoy the wine and want a discount.

6212 Ridge Rd, Mt AiryBest sushi in Mt Airy. The rice was perfectly prepared, the rolls could have been just a tad tighter. A few of my pieces began falling apart. The fish was very fresh and there is great variety on the menu. Parking is very tight so be prepared for that, just be patient if you pull in and others are trying to leave.
