After calling three different groomers who told us the dog needed to be sedated, I called doggy spaw and Bahar Told me to bring the dog over and that she would make sure we got all the mats off of this poor little baby. She was so kind and gentle with the dog and performed her miracle work with precision and kindness. I can’t thank Bahar enough for making time for us to help this sweet little baby. I highly recommend bringing your dog to doggy spaw!!!

117 Booth St, GaithersburgI frantically contacted Kentlands Veterinary Hospital when I needed urgent help with my dog. It was near closing and my own vet practice wouldn't stay late to see my dog. I called an emergency vet and they said there was an 8 hour wait. I called Kentlands vet and said I wasn't a client, but I desperately needed help. The doctor offered to stay late to see my dog even though I wasn't a client. She is clearly passionate about animals, placing their needs above her own. She was quickly able to diagnose the problem and literally saved me hours of waiting and hundreds of dollars at the emergency vet. I was so grateful for the excellent care and even more for the extreme kindness in our time of need. Can't say enough wonderful things about this place!

This place is top notch with excellent care, everyone is so kind and knowledgeable, and state of the art equipment is used. They called me every step of the way so I knew exactly what was happening with my dog and I knew he was in good hands. His procedure went smoothly and he needed less teeth extracted than originally thought, but he did need a filling on one of his canines! We were discharged by Dr. Garber who is also very kind - the discharge instructions are also very thorough and they called to check on him the next day. Overall great experience and highly recommend!

14426 Turkey Foot Rd, GaithersburgVisiting Dr. Nave Dhillon and his assistant Renee's practice is a slice out of James Herriot's "All Creatures Great and Small." They provide the same humane, practical, reasonable care that keeps fostering and fur-baby family-members affordable. Our 13-year cat Opie had a chipmunk cheek one day last month, which turned out to be an abscess caused by a rotten tooth. Our local vet charged us $600 for bloodwork, antibiotic, and a rabies shot, then offered to sort out the teeth for $1,200-2,000. I checked with Turkey Foot; Renee was able to work Opie in within the week for a quarter of the cost, and our little guy has been back to normal ever since. Dr. Dhillon treats animals that others won't touch, such as a feral cat I trapped, who was so wild that he needed to be anesthetized in a cage before he could be neutered. They really listen to my concerns and provide thorough answers and after-care check-ins. I particularly appreciate that Renee texted a picture of Opie recovering after surgery.

My cat, Kira, can be a bit finicky and fearful, so I was nervous about leaving her for a weekend trip. I found Erica from Wags to Whiskers, through a web search, and was very excited that she serviced the Kentlands. During the meet-and-greet, Erica took the time to get to know Kira and her routine and preferences. For example, Erica asked about Kira’s favorite toys, and where she might hide.
When I am away, Erica sends daily text updates and pictures, which puts my mind at ease. When I return home, Kira is happy and relaxed. The litter box is clean, and her food, and water fountain are full.
Erica’s reliable, attentive, and loving care make my trips much more enjoyable because I don’t have to worry about the care Kira is receiving. I would definitely recommend her to other pet owners as Eric cares for Kira as if she were her own! And that is hard to find!

The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and delicious. We ordered the Moussaka, the Salmon, and the chicken soup, and every single dish exceeded our expectations. Everything tasted homemade and was cooked perfectly.
A special thank you to Riley and Anastasia, who took such great care of our table. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome.
If you're in the area, Ela Mesa is definitely worth the stop. We would absolutely come back the next time we're on the East Coast!

That said, I had a concerning experience during my visit on June 29 at around 8:40 PM. I wasn't asked for my rewards phone number, which is normally fine because I can scan the barcode on my receipt later to receive my rewards points. However, when I received my receipt, there was no barcode to scan. In the past, whenever I haven't provided my phone number, a barcode has always been printed so I could claim my points afterward.
Based on that, I believe an employee may have entered a different rewards phone number instead of asking for mine. I can't say for certain that's what happened, but based on my previous experiences, it's the only explanation that makes sense to me. If that's what occurred, it's something management should investigate because customers shouldn't lose out on the rewards they've earned.
Other than this incident, I've always enjoyed coming here. The ice cream is great, the staff is usually friendly, and I hope this issue is addressed.
