9033 Gaither Road, GaithersburgI’ve been wanting to post a review for THE LONGEST for sometime in the past 3 years but I kept forgetting. I first went to Grove Center Vet after adopting my very first dog ever. I first met Dr Bender and his staff. I was so impressed. Mia was 1 and I was new at everything. Little did I know Dr Bender was in the process of retiring. Shortly after Dr Malik took over and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. See Mia (my golden) has a lot of health issues. She was born with 3 abnormalities which give her reoccurring UTIs, she has IBS, and a torn ACL. She almost passed away from Pancreatitis too from the jerky Purina treats. And let’s also mention that times she’s ate chocolate, plastic, has gotten an eye infection, a wasp sting her nose, etc. In short, my baby needs to be put in RICE. In the beginning Mia was terrified going to the clinic. She would shake so bad it broke my heart. But when she needed to urgently be boarded for her Pancreatitis, the care from Dr Malik and his staff comforted her and she was no longer shaking at the fear she once had. Fast forward to now, she LOVES going to the clinic. The moment we are at the light turning in, she starts wagging her tail and getting excited. She loves going behind the front desk to “assist” the staff but really she just wants to say hi. Mia loves Dr Malik and the moment we walk in, she starts barking so everyone could give her attention.
Due to her health issues we are there a lot. I’m there almost every week for her medication, her food or for her appts. The staff are so caring. Dr Malik and the staff have comforted me so many times when I’ve gotten emotional. I couldn’t have asked for a better support system when it comes to my Mia. She loves everyone there and I am forever grateful.

Dr Bonner is kind and thorough and dedicated to providing excellent pet health care. We truly appreciate her bedside manner and trust and value her opinion. She is quick to call back with lab results and recommendations and takes the time to answer all our questions.
(I dont feel it's necessary to subtract a whole star for this, however it should be noted that because she is the only doctor here, scheduling an appointment can sometimes take longer than expected.) Staff are responsive, friendly, polite and helpful and we feel our pets are in good hands!

Center for Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery LLC
9057 Gaither Road, GaithersburgWe were referred to this practice via Friendship Hospital Primary Care after a suspected recurring dental abscess on our 15-year old yorkie, Lola. Lola has had a history of severe periodontal disease, given the concern around putting a such a small (3lb) dog under anesthesia as well as a previous negative experience with anesthesia.
I was extremely nervous the days leading up to the procedure but understood the risk of the procedure outweighed the poor quality of life of Lola continuing to suffer with dental issues.
During the consultation, Dr. Kendall Taney made us very comfortable in the ability of their team to take care of our baby Lola especially with their board-certified anesthesiologist on site. After a few hours, we received a phone call that the procedure had been completed (including 20+ extractions, leaving Lola toothless) and that everything had gone well.
Now Lola is one-week post-surgery, and healing as best as we could imagine. Pain was managed well with medications provided and her appetite returned to normal after about three days.
I can’t thank Dr. Taney, Dr. Reed and the entire staff for the care they provided to our sweet Lola and ultimately improving the quality of life in her senior years.

Dr. Carrier has been caring for my dog, Paris, for several years. Paris is a senior blind Cocker Spaniel who was diagnosed with Cushing’s disease over a year ago, and I truly believe she would not be approaching her 15th birthday without Dr. Carrier’s exceptional medical care, dedication, and compassion.
Over the years, Dr. Carrier has helped save Paris’s life on multiple occasions. She consistently takes the time to listen, explain treatment options, and make thoughtful recommendations that always put Paris’s well-being first. Her ethical commitment to veterinary medicine is evident in every interaction. I have always felt that she genuinely cares about her patients and the families who love them.
What sets Dr. Carrier apart is not only her medical expertise but also her kindness and empathy. Caring for an aging dog with complex medical needs can be overwhelming, but she has guided us every step of the way with patience, honesty, and genuine compassion.
I would also like to recognize the incredible staff at Goshen Animal Clinic. Everyone is always pleasant, professional, and welcoming. A special thank you to Keyland, Ryan, and Kelly for their kindness, professionalism, and the outstanding support they have provided over the years.
There are simply not enough words to thank Dr. Carrier for everything she has done for my baby Paris. The care, dedication, and compassion shown by the entire team at Goshen Animal Clinic have meant the world to us. We are forever grateful.

Dr Baker and Dr Walsh were compassionate yet honest and they and the staff were so gentle with our kitty. Of course, it is expensive, but I didn't think it was outrageously so, nor did they push ultra expensive diagnostic methods in a guilt-tripping sort of way, as I have experienced elsewhere at times.

14426 Turkey Foot Road, GaithersburgVisiting Dr. Nave Dhillon and his assistant Renee's practice is a slice out of James Herriot's "All Creatures Great and Small." They provide the same humane, practical, reasonable care that keeps fostering and fur-baby family-members affordable. Our 13-year cat Opie had a chipmunk cheek one day last month, which turned out to be an abscess caused by a rotten tooth. Our local vet charged us $600 for bloodwork, antibiotic, and a rabies shot, then offered to sort out the teeth for $1,200-2,000. I checked with Turkey Foot; Renee was able to work Opie in within the week for a quarter of the cost, and our little guy has been back to normal ever since. Dr. Dhillon treats animals that others won't touch, such as a feral cat I trapped, who was so wild that he needed to be anesthetized in a cage before he could be neutered. They really listen to my concerns and provide thorough answers and after-care check-ins. I particularly appreciate that Renee texted a picture of Opie recovering after surgery.

We received daily pictures with commentary from the friendly staff showing him leaping, running, chewing toys & snuggling. Our minds were at ease knowing he was well cared & happy. Dog's Day Farm is expensive yet to us the is money well spent for a home away from home with lots of room to roam and friends to play with. We highly recommend them.

My cat, Kira, can be a bit finicky and fearful, so I was nervous about leaving her for a weekend trip. I found Erica from Wags to Whiskers, through a web search, and was very excited that she serviced the Kentlands. During the meet-and-greet, Erica took the time to get to know Kira and her routine and preferences. For example, Erica asked about Kira’s favorite toys, and where she might hide.
When I am away, Erica sends daily text updates and pictures, which puts my mind at ease. When I return home, Kira is happy and relaxed. The litter box is clean, and her food, and water fountain are full.
Erica’s reliable, attentive, and loving care make my trips much more enjoyable because I don’t have to worry about the care Kira is receiving. I would definitely recommend her to other pet owners as Eric cares for Kira as if she were her own! And that is hard to find!

Royal Tandoor Indian Cuisine completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the ambience was elegant, warm and inviting — it felt special without being overly formal.
Our waiter, A.P., was fantastic — attentive, friendly and made the whole experience even better.
And the FOOD! The masala chai and mango lassi were delicious. We loved the Chicken 65, Chicken Korma, and especially the Nihari Gosht — so flavorful, tender and absolutely delicious. The garlic naan was perfect with everything.
Then dessert… gulab jamun! I had no idea what it was called at first — it reminded me of a warm little donut hole soaked in a sweet honey-like syrup. SO good. ❤
Everything from the atmosphere to the service to the flavors was exceptional. We will definitely be back. This was one of those dinners where you leave already talking about what you want to order next time!

Additionally, you can purchase beer, which they will hold for you. The happy hour is an exceptional feature, offering a continuous celebration throughout the day on Sundays. Many establishments do not offer this extended happy hour. I highly recommend visiting Grape Escape, as it offers an extraordinary experience with live music that is truly captivating.
