“We cannot recommend Roger with Hall Madden in Washington D.C. enough! Roger went above and beyond to fit my fiancée with the his custom tux and with his dress shirts for our engagement photos. He helped recommend fabrics, colors and styles to provide the exact look we wanted for both the photos and wedding day, while also keeping our budget in mind. Roger’s knowledge of garment fitting and attention to detail resulted in a fit that was perfect on the first try and required no additional alterations. This took so much stress off from us and meant that we got to check the box for having his tux earlier than expected. Thanks to Roger and the staff at Hall Madden for helping us ensure my fiancée will look and feel his best for the special day! “Amazing service. Really timely turn around on renting a tux. I'm a larger person and they found everything to make it work for me, multiple options and everything went great. Tons of compliments on the fit and many people seemed surprised that it was a rental, because of how well it fit. The staff who helped (Marks) was very nice, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and efficient. “How have I not known about this place?! A couple of my coworkers told me about home court so I figured I’d stop in. It’s in an unassuming location based out of a White House tucked away in downtown silver spring. They resell clothing ranging from popular streetwear brands to designer labels and an extensive footwear collection. I went in with a couple items to sell. They took my pair of Rick Owens Creatch cargos and gave me $200. That’s a very reasonable price given I paid probably 600 for them. Didn’t take my McQueen boots because they said they don’t have a good resale value. I was very impressed with the designer selection. They have a lot of rare stuff that’s in great condition, some even brand new! Their staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back to sell some more and browse the new selection. If you’re looking to sell or buy some heat, this is the place to go!”

“If you want great service, quality tuxedos, and a local business, go to Lustre Formal Wear. Literally a block from the Capitol, Tony and his wife own this business the last many years.Although they do same service without extra charges, I came to Tony a month ahead of a formal wedding. Going on a Friday afternoon, there was no wait. Tony measured, fitted, and built the right tuxedo for me with matching shoes. The cost was around $250.The entire fitting experience took around 20 minutes! If you’re hungry, visit Le Bon Cafe for French toast afterwards.”

From the moment I walked in for my initial appointment his customer service and knowledge was impeccable. He helped me pick out every detail and ensured that each item fit perfectly before taking it home. While most suit purchases feel like just a simple transaction, this felt like a good friend helping you out every step of the way with honest feedback and communication throughout the process. In fact, I enjoyed the experience so much, that I purchased an additional Blazer and some dress shirts and will only come here in the future for my custom items. While custom services can be pricy I can ensure you that when you work with Ezra, you get competitive pricing to other commercial shops but the best customer service from beginning to end, and will leave looking your best every time!”

“I booked a 'personal style consultation' in the interest of finding new workwear and was warmly received by the manager Mark and the owner Victor. I had an idea of what I was looking for when I came in, but kept an open mind and was glad I did because I tried (and bought) things I may not have otherwise considered without their eye and guidance.
Victor was very perceptive and attuned to what I was responding to, which made for a very relaxed environment where I felt free to be conversational. He holds considerable experience in this field, which became immediately evident by the anecdotes and style philosophy he imparted.
I came in with budget parameters I knew might be limiting, but I never felt like the customer service experience was downscaled once I disclosed those; quite the opposite - they found solutions and helped me think through how to upscale my wardrobe without sacrificing quality.
Great suits, made with top shelf fabric, and clearly built to last. I definitely intend to return. Highly recommended.”
