“This is a very good independent grocery store! I'm a regular Mom's Organic Market shopper. This store is better in some ways such as wider selection of products. I believe Mom's produce might be a bit more extensive based on my search for organic ginger roots. I didn't find any at Common Market. However 4.5 stars would be my more accurate rating. I'm delighted that enough people got together to form a co-op. I will make it a point to return when I'm back in Frederick.”

“This is the best grocery store in Mount Airy. The prices are ok, but the sales are good and the rewards program is excellent. There are always plenty of employees, and plenty of cash registers open, each with an actual cashier. There are few grocery items I can't find here. It's a solid selection, typically well stocked. The produce and meat departments are well maintained, as well as the bakery and deli. Definitely my go-to grocery store in Mount Airy.”

“This review is long overdue!This tea store is exceptional! Located in beautiful downtown Frederick, the people here are incredibly friendly and beyond knowledgeable. Voila is the best tea store anywhere remotely around. I drive 45 minutes up here from Leesburg where I have 2 other tea stores near me where neither come close to the taste and quality of their teas.Tea on the Beach is my absolute favorite whether it’s iced or cold! You won’t regret stopping!”

“The store has a large variety of items even balloons with helium. Everything from candy to kitchen utensils. Its a bit unorganized but you will find what you needed. diapers safety pins cotton even a lint roller.”

“The reason I gave 5 starOne day I left my iPhone on the shopping cart and gone to work. I thought I left my phone at home and called my kids to check for me and they couldn’t find it.I use find my phone on my laptop and it showed me Safeway and I remembered that I left it on the cart.I called customer service and they asked me what type of phone it is and told them they said they have it. Later after work went there and got my phone.I am thankful to the staff who got the phone and kept it at customer service.”

“Great, large store. Has a huge variety of quality items. Wegmans store brand is also great quality. It's a very busy store and parking area, but have never had to wait for parking. This store tends to be a little overpriced compared to other stores, but there are a few things I only buy at Wegmans that I can't find comparably elsewhere. The inside of the store is sometimes very busy, but they do a pretty good job of keeping things in stock and having enough registers open. They are friendly and helpful.”

“Great Latino market in Walkersville. The cashier went out of her way to open the door for me and my baby who was in a stroller. They have a variety of foods from Mexico and Central American countries. They carry the best corn tortillas you can buy ( El milagro), fresh vegetables, herbs for Latino cooking, and basic staples like milk. So glad to have a Latino market close to Walkersville, Linganore and Thurmont.”

“The store is nice but when you are shopping and someone is following you through out the store as if they think you are stealing makes you want to spend your money elsewhere. Not sure if tha man following us around the store works there or not. But may just have to find another store to shop after today. But I will say the cashier was great and we did spend almost $200 with the grandkids coming you do have to grab some snacks along with some other things but she checked us out quickly.”

“Serendipity on Market is a casual sandwich/coffeehouse/market. It's very laid back, serving fresh made food and coffee, with a small market that carries limited grocery and produce items. We got a late start to the day, didn't stop in till early afternoon, but they were nice enough to make us some Avocado Toast from the breakfast menu. We also got a chicken salad sandwich on sourdough, and a vanilla latte. Everything tasted fresh and delicious, and the service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be back.”

“I love this Target because it's clean, and stuff is organized. They are well staffed. Employees are kinda helpful and friendly. They get you in and out quickly. They don't force you to do self check out. Yall know I cringe at that. It's not my job to do your job, Target! I have 0 patience for using a register, and no I have 0 patience to wait to get the check out monitor to help. Here they have registers open at least 3!. Fitting rooms are clean, and organized. I never have to walk in and see a messing room. They do price adjustments if you see something cheaper elsewhere without giving you a hard time. They keep their parking lot clean. I rarely see carts scattered all over.”

“I grew up in a rural part of Appalachia. One of my fondest childhood memories involved the Schwan Man, who would always stop down at my Pop’s house to bring spicy chicken and bomb-pops for us. I have a vivid memory of one hot summer day when the Schwan man came. My little sister and I chased him down the hill to my Pop’s house in bare feet. We caught him talking to my Pop and he said “would you girls like to see some fairy dust” and he scooped a bunch of shaved ice bits from the back of his truck and threw it up in the air for us to dance around in. It’s been more than 20 years now and we lost my Pop in 2005, but I can still feel the cool ice on my hot skin and hear my Pop calling us down over the hill to get bomb pops out of the freezer.”

“As a shopper with Instacart, I have the opportunity to visit many different food stores. The Safeway in Middletown is one of the best, in terms of convenience, cleanliness, and service!Often times, while shopping, I need assistance to find certain items. Today, an employee named Dawn helped me find several things that were in tricky locations. For the last of those, she was especially helpful as, believe it or not, eggrolls are found in different places within the frozen food section! Who would've guessed?So without her help, I would not have been as successful in my shopping today. Thank you guys and gals, and please keep up the great work!”
